Subtank Insulators, Kanger Runaround, and help needed!

I remember reading a thread regarding the new insulators that are being used on the new Subtank Minis. I believe they are a PEEK-type insulator that was light brown/beige in color rather than the clear colored, and are supposed to be much more heat and chemical resistant. I can't find the thread, and want to purchase 3 sets for the 3 Subtank Minis I own. Can anyone tell me where I can get them?

I contacted Kanger directlyvia email, and they are giving me the royal run-around. They are saying that I have to provide the original sales receipt, serial number, and all the information of the online vendor I bought it from. Then, I am supposed to contact the the vendor and they will determine if the tank is one of the "defective ones" (just by the serial number, not actually examining the tank). Then the vendor must request parts to be shipped from China, and then they would arrange for me to get the parts from the vendor after they get them! They refused to ship them to me.

I just want to buy a few parts! Why is that so damn difficult? Shoot, if I were Kanger, I'd be shipping these little plastic parts out in a heartbeat to make their purchasers happy and to alleviate any bad press before it happens.

So what is the contact information for the people who have these newer insulators so I can have them take my money?

I'm in same boat they told me only original subtank had insulator issues and mini has correct insulator. However its got the white one. I don't got receipt or packaging anymore and had recieved them as a gift.

That is not a run around. It is their Policy for proper tracking of replacements.
The only insulator that needs to be PEEK is the one on the build deck. The EXPOSED insulator.

Considering there are already Clones on the shelves, the serial number protects Kanger form supplying Original parts to owners of counterfeits.

I thought the mini came with a safe insulator the light brown was mainly meant for original subtanks (the 25mm version) or Mini's that had had a problem with liquid it's not a blanket replacement. I got my replacements by dealing with the vender alone no contact with kanger at all.

I trust his word rather than the tons of misinformation being thrown around by people who don't know. So... clear = good. But apparently there is yet another revision out there.

I went to the kanger tech us site and sent them an email. I did not provide a sales receipt.

Info I gave them in the email was.

Site I bought the item from
Serial/product number thingy
Verification code.

I got an email back with an hour that said "Thanks, we have ordered from China, they will be provided to you once received."

I got them 5 days later in the mail.

As for buying them v0v who knows.

Hey FearTX, was this for the mini or original subtank? What exactly did you receive? Brown or clear insulators?

U are one the lucky ones I guess. I have been going back and forth with them. Kanger USA fowarded to china and china kanger says contact vendor I found vendor where they came from and they say they never got any to send out and to contact kanger. So its a runaround and I've done this complete circle 2 times over the past week.
