So i bought this Subtank and the OCC coils work fine. But when i built on the rba deck and had it all screwed together i noticed its not feeding liquid to the wick. I tried a little wick alot of wick. I tried Rayon and KGD Cotton and nothing seems to work. There is alot of bubbles coming from the liquid channels so i figured i would take out the o-rings and reseat them and this didnt work either. Im at a loss for this thing. When it works its works really good and i love it. But usually 4-5 hits later its dry hit city and im starting to just say screw it. Has anyone had an issue with theirs similar to mine? If so how did you fix it? I made sure all the o-rings were in the proper way. Not upside down or anything. Thanks for the advice.

Not sure on the full size Subtank, but on my Mini, it's crucial to make sure the liquid channels stay exposed in the wells or it will dry hit after a couple of pulls. I wick it bunny ear style like I would any tank this style, but take an extra step to push the wick back in the center to expose the holes.

Cut your wick ends just long enough for the ends to reach the top of the liquid channels when pushed down, after wetting the wicks use a thick sewing needle or upholstery needle to make a small channel down through the wick material so you can see a little light down through the wick material when the horizontal channel is pointed toward a light source.
I prefer the Rayon wick material for a shorter break in period. My full sized Subtank coil I'm vaping at the moment is a non-contact coil of 5 wraps on a 3mm mandrel utilizing 26 gauge Kanthal wire.
It it's poor picture of a Kayfun mini rewick that isn't so great but may help clarify questions. The non-contacting coils on the right cause the heat to be off center and not really even. It's a NI200 build but uses the same wick concept which I think creates more vacuum allowance to draw liquid to the wick better.

I experienced the same thing. Tried every possible wicking method. The "vapor lock" was always worse when the tank was fuller, but got a little better as the juice level came down.

Anyway, I unfortunately had to modify it to make it feed properly. I dremeled out the juice channels and it works perfectly now, all the time, with every juice I've tried.

Edit: Mine is a Mini

Ok so i figured out the issue. So apparently i have the twist together the tank as hard as i can to create the vacuum. Im used to just twisting it on until its snug but with this tank it doesnt work until i twist it on as tight as it can go. So if anyone else has the issue this may be the answer to your problems.
