My issues are not as troubling as insulators melting into juice or anything like that. I have three issues, one of which I know I caused. So here it goes-
1. I can't for the life of me get the glass section off! It seems that one of the O-rings is sort of folded on itself and keeping me from sliding or twisting the glass section off. It also seems to causing some minor leaking issues
2. My rba section WILL NOT read on my ipv2! I can put a build on it, meter on an ohm reader just fine, but my ipv2 (my only regultaed mod) just says check atomizer. Anyone run into this issue? I checked to make sure the pin was making contact (it must have been in order to register on my ohm reader right?)
3. Ok, so this one is my own fault
after putting a build on the rba section and having issues using it with my ipv2 I decided to slap it on my XXIX. For those not familiar with it, it is a "Hybrid" mech mod, meaning the atomizer makes direct contact with the battery. Can you guess the issue I had?...yup, battery shorted!
This struck me as a bit odd because when I first received the Subtank Mini, i tested it on my XXIX and it worked just fine. What seems to have happened is that the contact pin was a bit more recessed thank it was with the OCC heads. So the rubber grommet insulating the (brass or gold plated??) contact pin started to melt. Still works fine with the OOC heads (not on my XXIX obviously) but now I have a bit of a plastic/rubber taste.
I emailed KangerTech about the second and third issue, but wanted to know if anyone here had the same or similar issues? Know where I can get a replacement insulator? How I can take the glass section off without damaging it or the o-rings?
