Subtank Nano with eGo One Issue

For those of you that have the Subtank Nano paired with the eGo One battery, have you had issues with the OCC 1.2 ohm coils popping and spitting when first fired? I tried the .5 ohm coil and no pops or spits whatsoever. No juice down the center hole and I've tried adjusting air flow and that hasn't helped. I'm hoping that I just have a bad 1.2 coil.

popping and spitting is semi normal..... but a .5 on an ego wont work... not enuf power, kinda like pulling an 18 wheeler trailer up a hill with a moped.... just aint gonna cut it..

turn the power down on the ego (if you can) while using the 1.2

The eGo One comes with a .5 coil and it works great. It also fires the .5 OCC coil just fine. The problem is with the 1.2 OCC coil.

wow.... ego has improved their batteries quite a bit then.... last one I messed with was a 1300mah VV and it couldnt even fire off a .8 ohm coil but was fine with anything between 1.1 - 2.5

The Ego One is a sub ohm battery, Prob just a bad coil and you can rebuild the OCC Coils !!

Thanks for the replies! I have the 1100mAh eGo One battery and it's unregulated. It fires the Joyetech 1.0 ohm coils perfectly. Like I said, I'm hoping I just have a bad 1.2 OCC coil. This combo is great otherwise.
