Could be the head loosened when you removed the tank to fill, make sure the head is tight into the base.

Just because a juice or delivery device or power device comes highly reccomended doesn't mean every person will like it.
I too cannot stand sweet juices, problem it seems is most folks either like them or their sense of taste differs.
Sounds like it is time to find a few other local vape shops, many will let you sample their flavors before buying and hopefully provide better customer support.

You might try here to see if someone local has any recommendations ---> http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/florida-vapors-club/

I haven't been able to get the tank to work at all since last night. I used it all day, took it off the mod to fill it and since then it says "check atomizer ". I took the coil out, cleaned underneath, put the coil back, and cleaned the threads of both the mod and the tank. I'm using multiple levels of pg/VG. I'm starting to think I got a bad tank. I don't know what to try to get it to read.

I changed the coil and it is now working. The vapor is still super thin. Right now I have a nicoticket 50/50. I've tried a high VG and it's the same. I've tried doing a mouth hit and still production is very weak, weaker than even the nautilus. The coil I changed to is the .5 coil that came in the box and am running it at 20 watts. I tried higher and lower and same amount of vapor production.

Have you figured out what battery you are using to power your hana?
Brand name, mah, CDR / amp rate, any numbers / letters on it?

The battery is both the backbone and heart of the power device.
Seems to me if other 'normal' / higher resistance range delivery devices work as they should and your problems occur when using sub ohm heads the battery is the first place I'd look.
Could be the battery you're using is weak, old, damaged, needing replacement, not fully charging or has an insufficient cdr / isn't up to the task of consistently or fully powering your hana at lower resistance ranges.

I switched the battery to a samsung which I believe is a 18650yesterday and am getting better battery life but still am getting little vapor from the Subtank while the Atlantis tanks work fine( oth than going through coils in around 3 days). The store told me to try higher VG juice and it will not wick in the Subtank and I get dry hits. Also I noticed that the coil doesn't make any noise when it's run. It's hard to explain, but when you go to vape you have to draw pretty hard to get some vapor and the vapor is very thin. Its almost like the coil isn't getting hot enough. The amount of vapor is less than on the nautilus( for comparison )

I'm running 10/90 in mine now (due to a mess up at the juice shop) and was worried about it's ability to wick. Well that was yesterday and I've filled the tank three times so it's having no issue what-so-ever with wicking and getting almost room fogging vapor production. Don't care for the extra sweetness of higher VG but that's another topic for another day.

As for the battery, it's either an 18650 or it doesn't fit. 18650 is the physical size not the rating. Maybe some pictures will allow those on here who are in the know with these sorts of problems some needed information to offer a solution.

Cloupors have some power regulation issues on some of their products but my experience with the subtank is that it needs less power to perform well then the Atlantis and if the Atlantis works although coils only lasting three days sounds off then perhaps the cloupor is running hot giving more power then is shown on the device.

Please excuse my ignorance, but I was considering an iStick purchase; the iStick 30 watt. Is there a problem with iStick?

Thanks,

Peter

Hey fellow Canadian, sorry I didn't see your reply and question until now. My comment regarding the istick was in relation to the use of them with a subtank. Don't let my personal opinion make any difference in your purchase. "I think" it's not a good pair. Your mileage may differ depending on your personal tastes. Have at 'er.

Best I can say is do a search for "istick vape too hot" and make your own judgement from there.

Hello all~

I seem to be having trouble getting the hang of my SubTank. I got the Atlantis first and looooooove it. I can use it on my mech mods, my Evic Supreme, my Aspire sub-ohm mod (my favorite is my mech mod, though) so when the SubTank arrived I figured it would also handle whatever. That is just not the case. I seem to be blowing through coils about every 3 days tops. By day 4 every other hit is a dry hit no matter what I have it sitting on. I wondered if I should try building a coil on it before completely giving up on it, but if this is just how they are I don't really want to bother with all that. I am vaping a peanut butter juice, 80/20, that I make with MBV ingredients. I have gone as low as 15 watts up to 30 to try and find a sweet spot but there just isn't one. Any advice is appreciated!! :)

Well, it's a cotton wick -- like with my RDAs some eliquids are going to clog them up in 2 days and some will be 2 weeks. I can't speak to your eliquid, but I'd very much encourage you to look up how to rebuild the coils and/or the tank section. If you go in through the bottom instead of popping the top, it's pretty easy. If your eliquid gunks up wicking quick, you might want to look at using rayon instead. :)
