Yes in my experience the noisyness, gurgling and spitting is an issue I've had on all my Kanger atties be they whatever model. It doesn't happen all the time but when it does it is very annoying. Apart from gasket issues it could also be a matter of wicking. For instance on the rba section of the STM I always make sure the wick in the coil is a tight fit. It does seem to reduce the spit back considerably.

Spitting and gurgling means that your wicking is pulling in more juice than your coil can easily vaporize. Superheated bubbles of vapor will form, and then burst throwing juice out like hot little missiles.
Use thicker juice (more VG, which being thicker will ...... the capillary action of your wicking), more power, more airflow, and increase the amount of wicking if you are using the RBA. You can also hit the fire button before you put it to your lips getting the snap crackle and pop out of the way before the mod reaches your mouth.

I second sonicbomb. I have a subtank mini and I have problems with spitting when I use less than 70% vg. I have tried up to 90% but started having problems with dry hits if I hit it more than twice in a row. So my sweet spot is 70-80ish. Not hard to find.

When I was using my sub tanks a few months ago they would do that when they got hot. I'm outside most of the day so that was pretty regular by May. I found that that if I opened the air holes all the way, wrapped a paper towel around the tank and blew through the drip tip I could clean a lot of it out. Bump the watts up a couple and the rest will burn off.

My theory is that when the air in the tank heats up it pushes the juice out through the wick and it ends up underneath the tank. Not really sure what you could do to stop it, this time of year just going outside in the afternoon is a 30 degree change in temp.

I have the Subtank Plus. When I first got it I found that it was leaking juice badly and gurgling from all the extra juice. I finally realized that the coil was wicking more juice than it was vaporizing. I cranked the wattage up considerably. Problem solved. Those coils may need a lot more power than what you're used to. Of course, more power results in more vapor and more flavor, so put those coils through their paces and get the most out of that Subtank.

Well thanks for that Info, was considering the subtank mini due to gurgling issues with my nautilus mini and sometimes my GS airs vaping higher pg. so that's out.. I shouldn't have to change what I like to vape pg/vg ratio because of the tank!
