Using a 901, correct?

In essence it's a Po' Folks AVS.
901 is correct. See the pics of the GGTS adapter in the other thread...exactly the same concept and application. The difference is the air control is via the GGTS control ring and the feed is taken care of by the tank Mod.

The side air hole in the atty becomes the juice feed port and the collector tank controls the air feed through the bottom of the atty. By adjusting the air (collector tank) you adjust draw and the feed. It also catches any leakage which is inevitable. It's the only way I can get it to work; the others w/o a collector, are a mystery to me. There has to be some way to control the air; at least that's my experience. Congrats if they can make it work; I can't.

Makes sense. Have you seen Caesar's 510 JD. It seems like a very simple concept that you should be able to duplicate.

Exactly so - that's how I've made mine. But... it will work only on a specified liquid and a temperature. So, using adjustable air controller is inevitable.

Here is what inspired me to try this collector free mod.

Well the one you linked to uses a drilled 510. If you look carefully when he twists you'll see a very small hole about a third of the way down from the top. Actually seems like a very simple way to do it. Making a simple jig to guide the bit should make the drilling easy.

Interesting... i've seen the hole... but how do you get juice in when the hole is not submerged in liquid? Will mess with 510 today if i have time with tank and 510 to 901 adapter on 910 to 910 adapter... will see if bottom feed works on 510 Neat looking tank though...

When you're vaping you're holding it in an angle. Then sucking action gets the fluid into the atty - even if the liquid doesn't touch the hole - it gets sucked in.
