Hello everybody. I just want to introduce myself and share some of my success stories as a new user. About a month ago, I saw a news special on the smoking everywhere e-cig. I tried everything to quit and knew the e-cig had to be the answer. I ordered my e-cig,(and payed too much) got it a week later and sure enough, it was the answer to my problems! It took me a few days to get used to, but sure enough, I had that bad boy mastered and was off the analogs in no time! The device I use gets a lot of bad reviews and a bad rap, but I've learned that patience is a virtue and in a few short days, my SE gold was a vapor pig! Thanks to the knowledgeable and helpful people on this forum, I have learned tricks to keep my device running efficiently and inexpensively, who the best suppliers are and many other things. I went from having 1 small kit and 15 (gross) carts, to having 3 batteries (from 2 interchangeable models) 4 attys (to keep from fudging up all the delicious flavors) 3 chargers, (car, wall and usb) a passthrough, (hands down, the worlds greatest invention) and a rainbow of flavored liquids! I love vaping and will never stop! Am I just feeding my addiction in another way? Well, absolutely. BUT! Am I hurting anyone? Absolutely not! I vape my face off all day and all night and haven't coughed in a week or longer! Guess how many cigarette butts I've flicked out my car window lately? I've come home from the bar a few times in the past month, well, maybe more than a few, and for some strange reason, no one tells me "you smell like a bar!' Most importantly, I get to live a longer life and can watch my kids grow up from home instead of a hospital bed. Thanks for having me on this awesome forum and I will see you all around. Happy vaping!

Amen!

I remember my first Healthy E-cigarette. I had to put two more cartridges on it to get it to make any vapor (old stock) but after three hits, I knew, '...this is it...I'll quit now for certain...'

Yes, it was very frustrating for me at first, but I was determined! I got alot of liquid in the mouth and wasted a few carts, but I'm happier every day! I'm always learning new tricks and now that I use liquids, I'm fogging out my living room with sweet vapor! Glad your a part of the revolution! Keep on vapin!

Any tobacco pushers reading this forum must be hating something chronic!!!

So many posts from so many people who've kicked the smoking addiction...it's hilarious!

.

It is pretty amazing! I'd love more than anything to see every smoker switch, but I'd hate to see what would happen to the economy!:(

The gov would just pick on drinkers and motorists, and make up lost revenue by adding more fuel and booze taxes (thats what they do when they need extra cash over here in the UK anyway).

.

That wouldn't be too bad. I vape and smoked far more than I drink and I can give up driving. I love my new habit and can never go back to analogs.

So today I had a family get-together and was around smokers all day. When they went out to smoke, I went with them and brought my DSE 103 from wordupecig with me, loaded with a hand-crafted cinna-latte juice courtesy of Terry Brazil. On my way out, I thought to myself: "How am I going to handle temptation when I see someone, everyone, light up they're cigs?" Well, let me tell ya! It was freakin easy! After 3 weeks off the butts, not only was the smell nasty, but everything about it was absolutely disgusting! One guy even knocked the cherry off and put half of the smelly thing back in his pack, which is something I used to do often and now can't fathom the idea. I couldn't stop staring at these people as they puffed and coughed and flicked etc. I know the look of disgust on my face was noticeable and I probably came off as rude, but as I took a long tasty drag of my sweet vapor, I thought: "Call me a snob, but there is absolutely NO going back!" Your thoughts?

Reformed smokers are the worst.

I have noticed that I am starting to look upon smokers with a bit of disgust now...even though I inflicted same fumes, smoke and general smells (from my my clothes hands and hair) that they do (for over two decades).

Active smokers simply do not realise just how much they stink...I certainly didn't, and I've noticed that a lot of my clean clothes hanging in my wardrobe/in my draws still stink of tobacco...:(

As for that guy "dimping" his smoke...yeurghhh...that smells horrible.

It will take a few weeks to get the stink out. Finally, I can say, I have not one article of clothing that reeks. It's a great feeling. Do you ever get the feeling that you should go up to everyone who ever looked at you sideways when you lit up and apologize for being so offensive? Or am I alone on that one? I never understood why people gave me an attitude about my public smoking until now. I always gave it right back like mind your own bloody business! For instance, there is a man who lives one level above me and when the weather is nice, he enjoys opening his window and placing a fan in it to blow the outside air into his bedroom. Understandable. Well. right under his window, in front of my building, is where I would enjoy a smoke about 4 times a night. He didn't like that so much, because my smoke would blow straight in with the crisp night air. He would storm down the stairs and ask me to stop and I would tell him to piss off and get over it. I truly understand where he was coming from now and can't help but want to apologize, not only for my words, but most importantly, the utterly offensive stench and pollution that I sent his way on a nightly basis.

Take him a few beers and tell him that next summer will be 100% smoke free for both of you.
