Yes, most PV's make a "suction" noise. I can understand how this might irk someone new to vaping and still working on making the switch, seeing as how aside from a soft sizzling noise, analogs are noiseless in comparison.

I'll tell you this much, though. You'll grow to love it. Almost as much as that popping, sizzling noise from a fresh carto. :D

Depends (no not the kind that old guys use)

If you are talking about a gurgling sound, yes that can be avoided/solved.
If you are talking about a faint hiss (that my old ears can't hear anyway), that is just air passing through the slots in the battery connection, and is normal.

If it is the gurgling sound, just draw on it without applying power. That will pull the juice up where it belongs.

No one mentioned the sizzle of the cartomizer, but to make vapor it's boiling small amounts liquid. With higher voltages, you can't miss it, and it's accompanied by crackles, but with the typical "cig like" PV, it'll still make a hissing sound, though it'll be faint. The other end of a cig does a bit of that too, as it burns.

Not at all to belittle your compliant, as it is a valid "something new" when using ecigs, but most of the people I've seen on here blow right past that difference trying to fix the taste, so if that's the worst of it, I would be that you'll be fine with it before long.
