Just looking for suggestions, I was thinking of maybe purchasing some Ehtyl Maltol crystals from wizard labs. But ive heard of other great alternatives. Whatever you think would fit well in a Blueberries and Cream recipe.
Em can turn on you a little. Just like any ingredient I suppose. Below is what I use. Also have the sweetner from wizardlabs which appears to be similar. This is just more economical.
TPA Sweetener is Sucralose, sugar-free. It's coil-friendly stuff and sweetens things for a living. Did you try the Blueberries and Cream without additional sweetener? If it's not sweet enough, try a sweeter cream. Using any/more Bavarian, Sweet Cream, or TPA Vanilla Swirl where you're using vanilla or plain in your base will make those mixes sweeter.
I tried looking on TPA for their sweetner, but cant find it anywhere in their website. I have their french vanilla creme, its very bitter. I also cappelas sweet cream, but that too is very bitter.
I just bought that yesterday. I will update here after I get it and test it out. It's supposedly not just sucralose (it's apparently dark colored), but don't ask me what it is.
