It was probably ethyl maltol. I buy and use the liquid version and let someone else deal with the crystals.

Maltol is the crystals. Dissolving them in alcohol or crushing them and dissolving them in PG or VG produces what you want. Here's the thread where they talk about how to do that. Maltol crystals usually added at 10% to PG to make the solution.

I've been using Erythritol for those times I do need a sweetener. Works well and supposedly less coil gunking than other sweeteners. I got mine in liquid form from ecigexpress.

BTW - That e-Cigarette might not be something a Person would want to use as there Day2Day set-up. But it would Look Cool on a Desk. Or Maybe on an Entertainment Center shelf.

Funny that it's a "starter kit" that comes with a .35 ohm coil. I guess the mainstream vaper of today isn't using that same hardware that we learned on. Clouds didn't work on the hardware that was available in 2010.

Yeah... Sub Ohm has become the New Normal. And most people STH when they see someone post that they use something like a 1.8 Ohm Coil.

It's personal preference, but I couldn't deal with the amounts of vapor that cloud competitions produce, even with 100% VG. I need some PG throat hit, but not enough to exceed that of a cigarette and its exhale puff. I just want to replicate my old smoking habit with a large margin of long term safety.

I personally find that Capella's Super Sweet works for my taste. I was looking for sweeter liquid also, and adding just 5 drops of that in 50ml was enough to satisfy me. I've heard some people do not like it at all, but I add it to almost everything I mix from complex soda to single fruits.
