I know in the list of sub-forums for this Forum the suppliers are listed as west coast, east coast, southeast, etc...
But would it be possible to change that to what state, or province they are located in? the reason I ask, is that when you go to many of these sites, it's a real challenge to find out where they are located by looking around their sites.

Historically, we were always vague about their locations due to FDA interference and 'visits'. Now, it might be possible to lighten up.

However you still have to consider the fact that some States are acting tough, and things could still be difficult at a local level. If you have trouble finding out their exact location even from their website, where it would pay to make that clear in order to get local business, then perhaps they have reasons to be discreet.

Even now we are not really at the stage where e-cigarette enterprises can universally publish and promote their location and their business.

It never occurred to me of that possibility. I guess Big Brother just can't keep his nose to himself. Now I remember another reason I'm libertarian.

Finding the physical location of any on-line vendor is not difficult ..

As well, I thought that in the UK it is a requirement for the EC Directive, as well as for CH if limited to have an address posted .. ??

The Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002

I was under the impression the US had a similar statute ..

All new Suppliers have to show a physical or mailing address on their sites. Some of the old ones were grandfathered in without an address, as they were veterans of the FDA wars.

EU sites have to display an address, as you say. In the US it is State law that determines it and who knows what that is :)
