So I'm new to this forum but I can't post anywhere else... Anyway I've got an aspire nautilus and elego twist. As I was cleaning out my naut a small metal piece fell and got washed down the drain. As I was reassembling it I realized it was the piece that connects the coil to the battery terminal, and now there is no connection so no vapor. Is there a piece I can take from my older mini protank II and use in it's place? Or a commonly found household object/something bought at a hardware store?
Suggestion for nautilus??

is it part of the coil head? i have mine apart and cant see anything in the tank that could fall out. there is a pin in the coil head that holds in the grommet. that is part of the coil head.
are you talking about the center of the threaded 510 connection? on the part that threads into the battery?
When a nautilus aspire is fully assembled but not attached to the drained you'll see a flat piece of steel on the bottom of the threaded portion that makes contact with the battery. That piece can be pulled out.
I would try to get ahold of the manufacturer and see if they'll replace it. No one sells it by itself and it has a pretty specific shape.

Yeah I pushed it out. I don't want to have to buy a new one or get a new bottom piece. Maybe a piece of wire?

Ok, it's 1 mm in diameter. Thing is that the spring closes the gap and I'm not sure how you'll cover that. If you find something that works, take a picture and post it? What would most likely work is a 1 mm steel rod.

If it is the contact pin you are pretty much SOL in trying to jury rig it.

Well, I have had some trouble getting in touch with them so I just decided to open up the pea trap. Now I realize why plumbing isn't for the faint of heart... Should be sanitized after a soak in vinegar and then boiling water.
