Have you tried any vaping gear? That might give us an idea of what you don't like and what you are looking for.

Hi. I agree, you should try something, maybe a friends? Or visit a vape shop.
Vape that doesnt feel like just an air.
I'm sorry, but other than taste, vape and air and most any gas feels the same. There is no "thick air". If you close your eyes, you would not be able to tell if the cloud on exhale was thick, thin or transparent. But taste (and the brain and the eyes) will make it feel "thick".

OK, so if taste isn't important, are you using this for nicotine replacement?
Or do you want clouds?
I understand why your head hurts. :)

Nobodys let others use their vaporizeres here :p , no shops because its illegal in my country (they sell over FB and stuff)

Maybe your right about thick clouds, but still hookah gives a pleasent feel in the throat that vape doesnt, or a placebo?

I would try different nictone lvls when i figure what device i should get, hopefully

Also clouds would be cool

Thanks for understanding my suffering :]

If vaping is illegal in your country people should not be advising you on criminal activity. They should be reporting you to the authorities for being a criminal. Prison will suit you well.

OK. I have a Pico. The battery unit actually doesn't have any effect on the nature of the vape you get. That's down to the tank. And the coil in the tank and the nicotine % and the temperature and so forth. Pretty much any tank can work on any battery, assuming the battery has enough power. A Pico set to 15 watts will give the same vape as any other battery set to 15 watts if they have the same tank on them.

Do you remember what tank was on the Pico you tried.

You said it felt like breathing air. I'm guessing you are referring to the feeling in your throat when you inhale. Like attypops said the amount of nicotine in the liquid will change the way it feels to inhale. I could turn the power way down on my Pico and it would feel like inhaling air. Or I could use juice without nicotine and it would feel bland to me. Turn the power up and the vapor would be hotter, you would definitely feel that in your throat.

Sounds like you have a limited choice of gear in your country.

If you can get a Pico I would go ahead and get one. With the right tank you will be able to get what you want. Maybe you could let us know a few of the tanks that are available over there and we can suggest ways of getting the type of vape you want out of them.

Once you have a battery and a tank you can experiment with different power and different juices and so forth.

There actually is thick air and thin air. Like visit Everest and you will be able to tell the difference.

You can't have "thick" air "throat hit" "hot air" and "huge clouds" all at once, you aren't making a lot of sense. It's not an insult honestly.

I would IDK keep the pico (in your case at this point I am not sure the vaporizer matters as long as you can get to a sufficient wattage for yourself) and try a few MTL and DLT tanks and I would get some "Shiska flavors" or whatnot in various strengths and do some experimenting or whatever, if you can.

Honestly, to me a hookah is like inhaling warm vomit and the whole communal experience isn't for me, not unless you put something quite different in the bowl.

But you are GOING to have to keep in mind ONE fundamental fact, which holds true for probably every smoker before they quit: THERE IS NO one and only 1:1 replacement from combustion in whatever format and vaping, they are entirely different. Sorry. The only way you get combustion is by vaping on a burnt coil which really isn't sustainable over the long haul, I'd say. I say this merely to point out-- we humans are creatures of habit. I love vaping and in some ways I will ALWAYS love smoking more, but I sustain myself by the fact vaping is great and lots of fun indeed.

IDK how vaping compares to hookahs because I find everything about them including the urinal cakes that go into them vaguely revolting, sorry and I don't mean to insult you. I just sort of mean I don't quite know what will suit you but probably NOTHING at first. If you want to give up the hookah well though keep on trying.

Understood thanks, what specifications should i consider when getting a tank ?

It was the tank that comes with it, like here

Last thing, do vaporizer affect how hot the vape is? Thanks

Thank you Anna, much appreciated. <3

But what makes a vaporizer too loud ? Is there "quiet" ones?

FYI. I don't know how much you know about vaping. I apologise in advance if I start telling you basic stuff that you already know.

Last question first. Could you clarify what you mean by vaporizer. Do you mean the coil, or a head with a built in coil that you install in the tank, or something else? Sometimes the words we use mean different things to different people.

The coil can have an effect on the temperature. Mainly it's the amount of power you feed to the coil from the battery. Though some coils will get very hot with a smallish amount of power and others need a large amount of power to get hot.

I never used that Melo tank. There's a search box on this forum. If you search on Melo you should find information about it. By the way, you can buy the Pico with or without a tank. If it comes with a tank there are several tanks it sometimes comes with.

Tanks can be divided into two types. One type you make your own coil and install it in the tank. The other type the coil comes preassembled in a head that you screw into the tank. That's just choice. Heads are more convenient, making your own coils gives you more flexibility and it's a lot cheaper.

Another way of looking at tanks concerns the amount of power they are designed to operate at. The tanks I use are designed for low power. They have restricted air flow and don't make much vapor. Other tanks are designed to use high power and have more open air flow to handle the large amount of vapor that is produced. Which you choose depends on what is important to you. Is flavor more important to you than clouds? High power tanks burn through a lot of juice, which means money. Unless you make your own juice which is another topic. If you go with high power you also have to think about a battery that can handle it.

Battery units are generally called mods around here.

I'm not the best person to suggest specific tanks since all mine are old and not available any more.

Noise is a difficult one. The two main noises are the crackling you sometimes get from big higher power coils, and the whistling noise some tanks make from the airflow. Once you start thinking about specific tanks people who are familiar with them could tell you how noisy they are.

This is complicated. Just be patient and ask lots of questions and you will get there. Since you have a limited choice of gear where you are it might be little harder to find something that works for you.
