I think that would create a conflict of interest since they allow vendors to pay for a forum for advertising and customer community. It would place ECF in competition with it's source of income. I don't know if ECF has the resources to buy the bulk required to undercut most suppliers, but I could be wrong.

That makes a lot of sense. Thank you.

Two things that I think many ECF members would like is an ECF license plate frame and an ECF die cut window sticker for their car.

Here is an example of both from a Honda Element Owner's forum I belong to. They both were huge successes on that forum.

I think most ECF members would see a license plate frame as a good way to promote the ECF and I know they would appeal to many people who are afraid of being pulled over while vaping in the car.

The clingy type are too cool. Especially for back windows around the defroster wire.

On that Honda forum, they came out with stickers and they were well recieved. Then they came out with "Chapter" stickers and they were a smash hit.

People who belong to a Social group like to display there efilliation(SP?) ie: Blue Grass Vapers, Zombie Vapers, Midwest Vapers, etc. The mods collected orders for each Co-Op style and then had them made as well as the plain Forum stickers.

It all worked out quite well.

I wouldn't want them to include ecig products. Coming here I can hear about each of the vendors that do sell these products and have relatively unbiased comments and reviews.

I do wish the ecf store sold bumperstickers and window clings that said things about vaping. and I agree with another poster, a license plate cover would be nice too!

ECF needs to be independent concerning e-cig related products, for several reasons. All the vendors you find here are registered with us and you should have no problems. If you do - we want to know. There is a vast range of products, it's a buyer's heaven here, you've got kid in a candy store facilities so make use of them :)

We'll ask our nice Mr j0ker who handles the merchandise to look at the sticker and number plate suggestions.

Completely agree that the ECF should Never sell e-Cig related products.

I know the window clingy type stickers will be a HUGE hit. The license plate frames would be great also. It just depends if a manufacture can be found that can produce them at a reasonable price.

Olde One, I have to agree with rolygate as to why ECF is not in the PV market. And I see you are still relatively new to ECF so Welcome. In the tad over a year I have been here I have seen ECF in action when it comes to disputes between registered suppliers and ECF membership. Rest assured if you are dealing with an ECF registered supplier your are dealing with a company that has to meet a standard of conduct that is fair. But , if you need a benchmark to start your own search for the perfect supplier for any aspect of a PV you can PM me and I will be more then happy to point you in the right direction based on my experience

Hoodies would be cool but the there would have to be different sizes and perhaps even colours. And what happens if hoodies become the "out thing" for the hip and in the know to wear?

Just asking,

Old post but did anything ever become of the license plate frame idea? A contest could be done for the message on the frame, i.e., "E-cigs a Viable Alternative, it's real." or some such thing. Seems the money could easily be used to educate, give visibility to cigarrette alternatives, fight legislation that denies those choices or place unjust taxes.

...or not.

Unfortunately, I never heard anything much after I posted the ideas.

I thought that the License Plate Frames might be a stretch. But felt that the "Clingy" type widow stickers would be a slam dunk.

The internet is full of places that will make clingy sticks in small orders for reasonable prices. And I'm sure that there are More than enough people here on ECF who would do the graphic design.

A shame because it seemed like a Great way to spread the word and help the ECF generate a few bucks to help cover costs.
