I like everything the Epower brings to the table EXCEPT that it's not ego compatible. Make a mod that looks very much like an ego but don't make it ego compatible, why? I would already have one if it wasn't for this fact.

Yes, I know I can buy a 510/510 extension just to use this thing the way I want to, but I don't want to add extra length to an already big mod and I don't want my ego style carto with its end exposed and not flush up against the battery switch unit.

It should be very easy to make the E-power ego compatible. Two simple ways I can think of off the top of my head. First make the cone threads on the switch the same size as an ego, then do one of the following:

1. Make a metal ring that has ego cone threads on the inside and has epower cone threads on the outside. Now you can remove it to use ego stuff or screw it on to use epower devices or the epower cone.

2. Make a ring as above but instead of putting threads on the outside just attach it to the large end of the epower cone and on any epower specific devices such as cartos.

#1 is obviously a cheaper solution as you only need to have one for each switch/battery combo. With #2 you get the added benefit of being able to sell your epower cartos, etc. as ego compatible and will get a larger market for those devices.

I don't think this would cost much to implement and being able to market it as fully ego compatible would pay for itself with the extra sales generated. I'm putting this suggestion here because I know Dan works closely with them to improve the product.

I have been on some other threads not directly related to the Epower where ppl have voiced concerns about it not fitting various ego devices. I really think they would get a lot more sales if they would make it ego compatible. They certainly would get my sale.

You can just get a small ego type adapter, I use one on provari and its small almost invisible, half length of 510 to 510 extension.
I actually prefer to use such adapter then original connector, at least with the provari, becuase screwing unscrewing stuff will eventually kill the treads
