Hey guys, I got another question for you all.

So my friend is switching to vaping, he wants something with a tank that has good vapor production, long battery life, doesnt leak, and good flavor, I know there is a lot of options out there but what is the best option under 100? He doesn't want to go a bit cheaper and end up hating it. I guess he needs something that has decent performance and is reliable and decently cheap.. what would you recommend for under 100 and under 150?

Thanks all :D
Ash

Oh and also I recommended he use a ego-T as a newbie device I figured it wouldn't be bad but the reviews are so mixed so ?

Do you know why he is specifying tank? Personally, I prefer cartomizers, e.g., Smok Tech Mega Dual Coils or Boge 2.0 cartos.

Within the world of tanks, your recommendation of the eGo-T is a sound one. [Those MAP tanks would be a bit too complex for a newbie.] I urge that he go with the type B tank, which is greater capacity and tastes somewhat better IMO. For example, the 650 mAh kit from Cignot ($79).

Although, for higher mAh and voltage, what I did was get the 1100 mAh 3.7V KGO ($45 in chrome, black, or titanium from Hoosier E-Cig Supply or $43 in black from BreezEsmokes) ... and get the $7 five-pack of Type B tanks and $16 Type B atomizer (or $10 Type B LR atomizer) from Cignot. Match/coordinate colors, of course. Even with the dual shipping charges, less money buys more mAh and voltage.

However, if he is open to something other than tanks, I think he might be happier with the same batteries (i.e., the KGO), but Smok Tech Mega Dual Coil cartomizers, e.g., $2 ea from Hoosier or $9.45/five-pack from iVape. [NOTE: iVape also has a great price ($7.45/five-pack) on the Boge 2.0 cartomizers, which are very popular, but I have not (yet) tried.]

If you think he would be happier with an automatic battery, the 1300 mAh Echo (also 3.7V) is a dandy. It comes with its own 3-ml capacity cartomizer (tastes great, but not intense TH) and is compatible with Kr8 cartos. But with an inexpensive 901/808-to-510 adapter (e.g., $1 from Good Prophets), it works with all the tank attys and cartomizers I've mentioned. $60 from either Cool Vapes (in chrome) or Cropduster901 (in black).

And make sure that he doesn't forget to order e-liquid, from ... oh gosh, there are so many wonderful juices and suppliers to choose from. He might as well start with whatever hardware supplier(s) he orders from.
