Yo dudes. I am new to vaping, infact i havent even started yet. I am interested in buying something nice for when im on nights out having a drink. i have stopped smoking but cant bare to think of not toking on something so fancy giving vaping a shot:) I have had a go on a few friends vape pens but found them to be a rather tight draw.. im hoping to find something with a nice (not too much) amount of airflow so i can get a nice airy draw without having to twist my face (i believe thats the clearomzer part...). Im also not interested in those really fancy mod tanks but would love something like a permanent marker shape with adjustable wattage and voltage controls (basic straight pen). Can anyone recommend anything on behalf of both the clearomizer and mod i.e the full shizam in one. im also wanting to use the drip style liquid rather than the pre made cartridges. Im very new to this so sorry if anthing ive said doesnt make sense, cheers guys:)

DJ, do you happen to prefer the "pen" style vapes, or box shaped vapes? I think we can all give you suggestions, but it would be helpful to know your preferences.

If you want something small, in more of a "pen" shape, you might like the Innokin iTaste devices. The atomizer/tank on top is a Nautilus Mini.

If you like the box shaped devices, Robert Cromwell gave you a great suggestion. There are MANY in that category.

I'd recommend the Coolfire4 as a really solid piece of vape gear.

Dj the issue you will run into is that all of your normal clearomizers... Like your buddy's vape pen... Will have a tighter draw because they are meant to mimic analog smoking or a mouth to lung inhale.... There are several pen shapes devices that can handle the vw/vv that your interested in getting however such as the previous poster showed with his nautilus mini the tank will have a rather tight draw.... I would recommend the new kanger subvod kit it is about the size of a long size Sharpe and the tank is a topfill sub tank that can offer you a .5 coil if your interested in a direct lung draw(airy)... A 1.2 coil for a tighter more mouth to lung draw like you have experienced in the past as well as an optional rebuildable deck you could pick up in the future to build your own coils if you saw that as a means of you saving money or something you wanted to dive down into.

Here is the kit
I have been looking at that exact one. Thankyou all for the advice, i think im going to go for this one:) No vv/vw but the reviews look great and the adjustable airflow is a great feature. Im stuck between 1.2 and 1.5 ohm coils i think i may get the 1.2's. and in terms of look this is exactly what im after:) cheers

You don't find the nautilus to have restrictive airflow after going to the other tank? I dunno some people will for by that nautilus and I can see why it bridged the gap between clearomizers and tanks I just think it's draw is so restrictive that you are either taking a massive throat hit or get physically tired of drawing in to get a flavorful draw. With that adapter ring that the nautilus has any tank is viable that has a 1.2 coil plus.

I found the full size nautilus to have less airflow than the mini. Although both had too little for me.

If you MTL and are looking for a good cheap tank I'd recommend the GS Air M. Seriously, when I saw it was like $10 I thought it was going to be bad but after vaping with it, it is one of my favorite tanks. At that price point you can't go wrong. $10 is nothing when comparing prices of tanks. Give it a shot. I use the 1.5 coils and it gives out good Vapor production as well as flavor.

I guess really it all comes down to preference... I couldn't stand feeling Like I was sucking through a stirring straw So that is probably why vaping didn't work for me in the beginning and I went back to analogs...but I tried again and got the sub box mini kit and when I saw how hard the nicotine could hit you in a power box like that at just 6mg I was hooked.... Been smoke free for 4 months... I meds around with my mini tank since I have acquired a crap ton more stuff in that time and try to build 1.8 ohm coils on the rba and close the air flow down to 1 hole to try and mtl vape to see If I could be amidextrious so to speak... And I dunno I just either don't have the technique or it isn't for me but I can't get the same fulfillment out of it...I can definitely see the pro's for it...longer battery longer juice air in your mouth first which means vapor to tongue so supposedly flavor on tongue more I guess... But it just doesn't ever work that way for me... I did pick up this tobeco mini tank is though holds 7 no of juice and has a rebuildable deck with wide open air this thing is what you call and all day vape

I'm just the same. I like a nice airy cool vape and I don't want to have to work hard for it.

I only quit smoking completely when I started using RDAS because I just couldn't get that fulfilment from tanks. Subtank mini came close though.
