I bought my first ecig back a few years ago which was an eGo. Not sure of the model. I did like it but felt it was a little of a hassle to keep a bottle of juice with me to drip which I was doing. I would like to give it a shot again and wondering if there is anything out there now that I can just fill up the ecig and go most of the day with? Looking for something with good battery life and great clouds. Not really wanting anything that I have to fiddle with too much. Does eGo still make a good product? Thanks for your suggestions.

The newer Joye eGo-c upgrade batts have a few more features than the earlier eGo's... 5 click on/off which is nice for travel or pocket. The button led changes from white to light blue to dark blue as you lose charge. It has two modes - a regulated mode 3.3-3.4V or unregulated mode 3.7V - you change modes by turning off the batt then holding down the button for 8 seconds - it changes color to orange (unregulated)...

The Tabac BCC (bottom coil clearomizer) has a 3ml capacity. The largest in that size - same diameter as the eGo.... no fuss, no leaks and has a changeable coil where you just change the coil instead of the whole clearomizer/atomizer as in earlier versions. A cleaomizer has no filler like the old cartridges and cartomizers - no off flavors from the filler.

Use this for the T3S rather than the one in the post which is for the metal one - heavier and only cosmetic...
eGo 3ml Tabac T3S BCC (Bottom Coil Changeable) Clearomizer

Good price on eGo-c upgrade batts:
https://www.cignot.com/product_p/egc-ubt-all.htm

The old eGo charger will work but you need an eGo charger not just a 510 charger. 420mA

There are knockoff eGo's cheaper, but it will cost you in the long run, imo, and in the opinion of most vets around here....

Thanks for the reply! That looks like something that I might go with.
Is there a big difference in the size of battery (650, 900, 1000)? So, all I need to really get started is a battery, the Tabac CCC, a charger, and juice? Anything else? Do I need to start with a couple of the Tabac CCC? Can you just switch out juices or do you have to dedicate them?
Also, is there anywhere that has prices better than others? Prefer to deal with US businesses.

The vendors mentioned are the ones that I know have true brands... there are others, but these I know for sure. If you shop by price you'll get fakes, clones and it will be more costly in the long run. Some are willing to take that chance.... I did, but not for long.

It's the Tabac BCC (bottom coil clearomizer) and you might want to get two along with extra coils in 1.8 and 2.2. Unless you're using menthol or 'atomic' type eliquids, you should be able to switch out flavors. Once you think that these are the ones you want, then I suggest having a dedicated Tabac for each flavor and two batts per clearo .... if/when you can afford that.

The size of the battery can be significant. I prefer the 650's but I don't need the longer ones - although if I did, I'd opt for the 900 (9 hours) over the 1000 (10 hours) because the difference in length doesn't justify the 'extra hour', iMo.... others may disagree. I like a more stealthy vape that is more like a small cigar than a rocket :)

Here's a comparison from another site:

8acb7e3a.jpg

From L to R - 1000 eGo-c twist, 900 eGo passthrough (about same size as a regular 900) and a 650 mAh batt. The Twist (variable voltage) are longer than the regular batts and a 650 Twist is about the same size as a regular 900 batt.

from my own collection:

L to R - All Tabac BCC's except for 2 and 3. Batts: Vision Spinner 400mAh, joye 510, mini 450 eGo with a Baby T3/Tabac, 650 eGo-c upgrade, 900 eGo-c upgrade, eGo RS, 650 eGo-c Twist, 900 eGo-c Twist.

Cool. Thanks guys for the suggestions. And thank you for the time you spent with the photo and explanation. That give me a good idea.
I am assuming the battery times that you posted are continuous use? That's quite a bit of vaping. I would probably go with the 900 as well. The only time I would need that long of battery life would probably be on weekends and even then I may not need that much but would be good to have just in case.
Are all the eGo c twist variable volts or do you have to order a certain one?
I know nothing about the ohms and such so I guess I need to do some more reading...

All the eGo-c non variables are 'upgrades' as posted in my first reply (cignot). The two eGo-c Twists are variable 3.2v to 4.8v - since I prefer the shorter eGo-c's, I fit the coils to the batteries. Stronger flavors are better with the 1.8ohm coils and lighter flavors with the 2.2ohm coils on the Tabac BCC's. The coils are replaceable.... If you're using a Twist, then you can just adjust the voltage to taste. I use the Twists with a Joye atomizer and drip tip for dripping - sampling eliquids. Once I find one I like then I figure out what wattage tastes best and get the right ohm'd coil for the regular eGo-c upgrade batt :)

Here's a chart that helps:

Well, I ended up purchasing 2 of the eGo C twist 900mAH batteries from cignot with a charger, 5 of the Tabac T3S BCC's with a couple extra coils from good prophets and several flavors from Mount Baker Vapor. Got it all in today except the the Cignot order and Good Prophets shorted me one of the T3S's. Sent them an email so hope they will make good on it. Hope the Cignot order comes in tomorrow!
Any tips to get started with this setup is appreciated. Do's.....don'ts????

With the Twist, dial in the right voltage for the flavor - start low 3.2-3.4v and then go higher if needed. With the Tabac's, when the draw gets a bit hard is when they need cleaned. Remove coil and put it in 151 proof vodka (or similar - unflavored best). Should extend the life of the coil. I'll go a few months sometimes without needing cleaning although darker ejuices will require cleaning sooner.

When unscrewing for filling make sure the coil doesn't also come unscrewed - that may happen at first but later, not such a problem but if it isn't firing, that is almost always what the problem is. Tighten the tank down on the coil base well or you'll get leaks. Citrus, menthol, cinnamon may crack the tanks. Almost all others are no problem. Best to refill tank before you run the tank completely dry.

To maintain any batt, have a few Qtips by the charger and wipe the inside well and outside before putting on the charger.

Vape on!

Just put this on my old ego and man it hits hard! Surprisingly it still works. Don't know how long the battery will last but it may get me by till my new C gets in. I am using "thug juice" and hits real hard. Almost too hard. Will the new C twist be able to adjust this?

Yes. Again, start low then dial up to flavor. At 1.8 ohms depending on flavor you'll be below 4V. That's a good looking ejuice - light. Unless there's a dark one you Must have, best sticking with the lighter colored ejuices.

Most of my Joye eGo-c's are the 'upgrade' type where in regulated mode I'm vaping at 3.4V. On certain flavors I'll go to the 3.7V mode but it's rare... why I don't really need the Twist, although I have a few. And I prefer the 650's.

You don't need the twist if you already know how many watts you want to vape. You can accomplish the same thing by buying cartos with the right ohms for your taste.

Beginners don't have this knowledge and have to go through a process of discovery. Using a variable volt battery is much easier that buying cartos in a half dozen different ohms.

I did end up getting the twist. Then a few days later I order an innokin MVP with a pro tank and mini protank. Loving it but still trying to figure out which voltage to use...

I suggest starting at the lowest setting and work your way up. Your taste may also change during the day. In my case I get the most taste and hit in the morning and by the end of the day I am 3 or 4 tenths of a volt higher. You should also keep in mind that in a week or three the coil will gunk up and needs to be replaced.
