It doesn't appear that I can fit 2 claptons so I'm thinking a single Clapton our dual parallels stainless steel for temp control

Congrats on the Tugboat! In my not so humble opinion, it's one of the truly great atomizers to come around. Claptons, fused claptons, fused staggered, stapled....alien......they're all great. Just not for a tugboat. Dual 24 or 26 ga round wire coils are perfect in that atty. Try 6 wraps on a 2.5 mm rod. Personally, I think spaced coils work the best. You'll get all the flavor and vapor you could want and you'll be changing batteries far less.

Tugboats shine with simple single wire builds......just like mentioned above dual 26g ss 316 6-7 wraps at 2.5 mm lined up with air flow...spaced for temp... contact for wattage..... if your dead set on claptons you might be able to cram 28g single core wrapped with 36g but it aint gonna be easy....

I put parallels in my Tuggers. Duals or singles. I don't cram 5lbs in a 1lb bag.

My B&M gave a good deal on my tugboat v2 it was the last one display thy did not have a box so thy gave me 75% off but I do spend a lot of cash there
