I am looking, and looking, and looking. Can't seem to find an atty that would meet my needs. I am tired of wasting cash on cartos. I am looking for a rebuildable that has a tank- not one that uses the ego tank.

Preferably, does not use mesh. I do not have a torch, nor a gas stove. Also, needs to not leak when tipped over. From what I have read, the genesis styles leak. I have small kids, and can't have liquid being spilled.

Is there anything out there that can meet my preferences?

annah if you will reconsider the need for a tank, the phoenix or phoenix clone is like a tank, minus the waste and leaking! i have tried a few tanks and they are awful juice hogs (and mess) from leaking. For me, the Phoenix dripper is like a carto without the hassle of refilling and throwing out when a carto gets burnt flavor.

you can use any wick you want in the phoenix. i almost bought the phoenix that has the ego T mouth piece and thought - oh hell no. i want ease and consistency. the dripper holds a lot of juice and no leaks, including in your device.

I was afraid that might be the case. I have been watching for an Ody for months, and haven't caught one. I have a suspicion I may need to learn to do stainless. uggh. I think the DID or clone meets the other requirements, correct?

I have no real experience with the Genesis types, I hear some might leak juice out the wick hole, but I guess that does'nt necessarily mean it will end up outside the unit itself. I'm happy with my GG stuff, and my good old trusty CE2 Map Tanks, and yes, the rba's generally do use more juice.

I guess I will purchase a phoenix to try. I do prefer a tank though, because I can keep my juice bottles up and out of reach of the kids easier. A dripping atty would be fine for my nights though, when the kids are in bed. I already use an insane amount of juice though, so I'd probably be tethered to my juice bottle. LOL

My concern with leaks is that they not leak out- like onto the table when the kids inevitably bump the desk/table, and my pv falls over. Happens at least a couple times a day.
