Hey guys! Question...

What would be a good wattage at which to vape the following?

Virus
CLS
Wakonda
Doodle

Wasn't getting much flavor out of them, so I gave them a warm water bath and left them uncapped for a day. Seemed a little better but still quite muted.

I'm still technically new at this, so I'm still learning. I had them all in my vaporfi pro stainless kit. Just a standard 650mah battery. Just for poops and giggles I threw the tank on my MVP and cranked it to 9.5 watts (doodle) and it was a world of difference. Should I have all those flavors up that high? Beginning to think I should toss the vaporfi setup lol. I'm beginning to wonder if I'm losing a lot of flavor with ANYTHING I would put in there.

I run mostly mech mods so for me and my tastes I like NT juices hot. Since your MVP is variable try each one on it and see what hits for you. What is the resistance (ohms) of the coils on your vaporfi setup? We can from that figure out what the watts are. A battery fresh off the charger will be 4.2 volts and drop from that as you use it. A fresh battery with a 2 ohm coil would be 8.8 watts and drop from there with use. Higher ohm coils would be less watts to start...

With the BVC in the Nauty, you should be perfectly fine going to 11 watts.. I haven't used them, but have heard those coils can handle it. The juice will not scorch, that is for sure! With the other setup you have, it depends on the ohms of the coils, like gopher said^... Personally, I'd stick with the nauty and MVP...using them in anything like a basic starter kit and basic tank is basically a crime :). Just start around 8-9 watts, and bump up one watt at a time, until you think its too hot, then maybe open up the airflow to get more air, or bump the wattage down by a half watt. ;)

Oh, it looks like you have two nautilus'! I'd say upgrade that 650mah to another MVP, or as I've heard good things, the eleaf istick... or just a basic "twist" battery like the Vision spinner II...ect... ;)...

Just me, but I wouldn't give mine a warm water bath. The juice is quite good the way it is, and I wouldn't want to mess it up. Hopefully the Nautilus with the BVC coils improves things for you.

Good morning!

The atomizer heads in the pro are 2.2 ohms. Thanks for the replies. :) I'm beginning to understand finally how people can have whole racks for their setups LOL. Pretty sure I would almost definitely get in trouble if I got another mod so soon after the MVP. But that and more nautis are on my list!

I generally enjoy all of the above on a half ohm coil and a fresh 4.2v battery... that lands somewhere between 27-35w

Lower resistance coils will help a bunch! (even at comparable wattage)

Yep, agree. I re-buid my own PT heads so they sit between 1-1.2 ohms. 2.2 store bought heads muted the flavor so much it was like vaping nothing. Oh and I use an MVP2 at 7.5 watts with my PTs. :)
I usually use 1.8 and 2.0ohm coils in my tanks with the MVP's - would I be better off using the 1.2 & 1.5 instead? (Evods, mPT's, MOW, & mini Nautilus) I use the MVP's at 7.5w too.

I have two of those terrific little Eleaf iSticks now and use them with the same. I only have them at around 6w at the moment.

Yes, try them at least. ;)
