Ok sorry, I'll try and find a picture but basically I'm trying to find out if I can buy a replacement device as I have syrup - or if the device itself is also not allowed on this island? The one I brought with me is dying and so I need to think of a solution other then going back to smoking normally. If that's buying a whole new setup that's fine - just trying to figure out if that's allowed.

Sorry I got the name wrong its an eGo-T and here is a link. I've just switch from disposable e cigs parts (skycigs) to the full it yourself type, so feel free to tell me I should be buying some other type of e cig device.

Cheers!

Did you see it? That went way, way over my head! lol

I'm sorry noobie here excuse my ignorance Ive been reading about this stuff all day and it's still like reading stereo instructions front to back. I got the part about confusing tanks and batteries but all the different models was a bit confusing. Could you post a link to some real deal, non-knock off hardware? I guess I just need a kick in the right direction and take it slow from there. I've been trying to adsorb all this forum has in a day and I'm realizing that's just NOT going to happen.

I came to this website at a suggestion of a vaper friend. I also was talking to him several times a day.....I was overwhelmed and it was like Greek....which is OK if you're greek....but alas no. On his suggestion I got the Ego C....it's basically all the same...It's an Ego batterie that do different things. Ego C...changeable atomizer...Ego twist...varialbe voltage...etc...it's still an Ego Battery....I leaped on faith and got the Ego C...some juice...since I received it in the mail...I had no real intention..didn't throw out cigs and ashtrays....Just haven't picked up a stinkie since. I still have them in my coat...have a lighter.....just don't have the desire to light one up. So I haven't quit....I am just upping my days away from them....I am loving it. I believe one of the biggest factors I came to realize was...how much I smoked in a year....I would say I was a Pack A Day (PAD) smoker, but when I read some of the banners on here, I realized I was smoking around 7,500 stinkies a year...blew me away....7,500. I know a lot of people smoked more, but this is about ME!!! When you get a kit in your hands you are going to understand a lot more. There are very knowledgeable and helpful people on here. Suddenly you will say "Oh" and have a smidgen of understanding, you will be fine and after a week you will be able to help someone in the same position. Believe me. Take the leap of faith and you find yourself on the right road. 8-9 days and I am feeling better...more energy...not standing on my back porch in the freezing weather and rain....smell so much better.....loving the different flavors. My wife called me an idiot for spending $100 on the kit and juice......A couple days ago she asked the idiot to set her up, I am an idiot, but like a blind squirrel who found a nut. Same half a pack that I had when I received the kit is still in my coat....almost same amout....one less from a supervisor at work that bummed one off of me. He said "you don't want one?" I took one out...put it in my mouth..took out my lighter...and said "no". Put it back....he couldn't believe it. Come on down the road a while......think of all the things you have down in your life on a whim.......If I had to do it all over, though I am very happy with my uneducated first choice....I would get Ego Twist Kit....get some juice...there is a list of awards for 2012 in the General Smoking threads....and you can add or change to Clearos...Cartos...or anything else that fancies you. Good luck and hopefully we cross paths again. I think you will come to believe it's one of the best decisions you have ever made...it was for me.

I haven't read all the thread but an ego class battery will be much more useful to a heavy smoker than a cigalike even if they don't know it yet. Unless you want to constantly charge batteries all day check the mAh posted for your selection. 100mAh = about 1 hour of usage- most cigalike types cut off at about 280/380mah. Look for something with at least 650 if not higher. A vivi nova tank system or dct tank with prepunched cartos would be best as well as variable voltage. Even though the smaller batteries are pretty with flashing lights they are less than desirable for a heavy smoker. Check out some of the picks here for ladies in bigger batteries http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...show-us-your-girly-pretty-decorated-pink.html

baditude u need to get that post stickied already lol
Why not ask a moderator or the administrators here to do that for me. I don't feel comfortable myself doing it, as it might look like I am self-promoting. If other members want my blogs stickied, I am all for it because very new members who have less than 5 posts are unable to access blog entries.

Hey sorry, I think this has become a slightly different thread to what I was hoping to find out. Basically I have juice but my device is dying a death. I'm on an island that I'm told doesn't allow for import of juice - which is fine as I have my own. My question is can I get a new device sent here or purchased here?

As for start up vapors, go for something easy and simple like a safe cig or sky cig. They work great and are really straight forward. When you need something more refined, at least you know what your looking for. I've been on e cigs for 2 years and reading the advice on here is still like reading Dutch. I would have avoided juice/ tank stuff for this reason except for my need to have a large volume of juice, now I can't order more. I wish there was a - buy this one, it is the standard - answer, but from what I've experienced, the devices that take juice only last a month or so, and then the atomised dies - as in my case.

Any advice on a replacement on this island would be great.

Ok so I NEED to do something about my smoking, it's not only bad for my health but I'm pretty much going broke at the same time. I've been reading this forum for almost 12 hours now and I'm so confused it's not even funny.

First my background 2 and a half pack a day smoker, I need something that will take me through my day but at the sametime being a girl and all I don't want to look like I'm puffing from a stainless steel metal test tube (no offense to anyone).

Mind you this is my attempt to cold turkey quit the regular cigs and give this a try, I need whatever I use to be a few things...

1) Reliable
2) Long lasting (as previously said but can carry around multiple batteries)
3) Re-fillable (preferably not tied down to one store in case of emergency, or in case I run out! see #1)
4) Somewhat on the smaller size, I can deal with something that looks like an extra large 100 but something really thick would just get weird looks especially at work (don't judge me, /cry).

I'd appreciate your help guys, I've read countless threads but everyone seems to recommend something different and I just want to buy the hardware once and do it right the first time if you know what I mean. Also buying from an online source means if it breaks I won't have anything for a few days and that could spell disaster for me.

- Thanks for reading!

I love threads like yours and I'm bookmarking this for when I need to update my mod. I'm currently using an Apollo eGo but really, I wish I would've waited and researched a little longer (not that Apollo eGo is bad by itself, the battery is great and you get two for 70 dlls and you get one-year warranty, but the variable voltage is something I'm really interested in). Choose wisely :).
