Is this type of battery suitable for a mod,and could it be charged through atomizer connection like a stock batt.
its a 4.8 volt battery.

you would need a balance charger like this:HobbyKing Online R/C Hobby Store : Turnigy Accucel-6 50W 5A Balancer/Charger w/ accessories $24.99
looks like a 4 cell pack. you need to know if they are wired in series or parallel to figure out the voltage. If in series multiply by 4 the voltage of each cell. If in parallel the voltage will be that of one cell. You need to know the chemistry of the cells for example nickel cadmium cells are 1.25v li-on cells are 3.6-3.7v. A big pack like that would probably have great runtime. I believe most atomizers work best at 3.7v-6v so if the voltage is to high you could use resistors or a regulator to get it within the good zone but you might need some cooling if the voltage in is to high. maybe you could put together some sort of semi-portable home unit with a heat sink.
