Not sure whether to put this under mods or Health (addictive behaviors/thoughts about vaping ;)) but anywho... I was looking at one of our older Panasonic wireless phones and thought to myself... Gee, that short antenna looks like an 801 atty with whistle tip! Pondering it some more, I realized that the phone has lots of buttons (perhaps suitable for an on-off switch with modification) and a battery! But what, I wondered, was the batt voltage? I popped the back off and low and behold... the pack is 3.6v/ 600mah. Since I'm a total nube to mods, can anyone out there confirm whether or not this has been tried, and/or if this would provide a suitable power supply? IMO it would be an epic stealth desktop vaper for the office.... rechargable by putting the phone back on it's cradle.

Ring Ring. Who's there? It's Mr. Jones calling, Sir... :D

I used the battery for my first box mod when the factory batts couldn't keep up. It worked well and I just popped it back in the phone to charge. I have 3 of those around here so it was pretty convenient.
I never gave any thought to using the whole phone though.

I used a Radio Shack 23-1406 Li-ion 3.6v 1450mah for Sonyo 8200, removed it from its caseing cut of restor network and it was very easy to soder to, used phone jack port and usb connector to charge. Also used a whole samsung cell phone as a pv, wish I new how to post pictures for everybody, up to 16 mods now, I think Im adicted to modding might have to go seek help LOL.

lol thomas... just upload them to another site like Imageshack or Photobucket and then grab the direct link address from that site and come here and push the little button with the mountain and sun on it on the top of the box you type in. Paste the address in there and you're all set.

Or just grab the link from those sites that already has the img tags in it. ;)
