I never knew anything about this survey, probably because I am neither in Australia nor Bangladesh. I was hoping this was the results of the Flavor survey, but I guess this is semi-interesting. Thanks for sharing.

I'm surprised that not 100% of all vapers believe that vaping is less harmful and less addictive than cigarettes.

Why bother to vape if you believe that vaping is no less harmful than cigarettes? And does anybody really believe that vaping is as addictive as cigarettes? Apparently some vapers do. In the study, it says that more than three quarters of the respondents perceived e-cigs to be less harmful and more than two thirds perceived them to be less addictive.

Does that mean that a little less than a quarter of the respondents perceive e-cigs to be equally as harmful as cigarettes? That sounds pretty weird, imo.

My guess is that a good number of respondents either didn't understand the questions, or just randomly selected answers.

And the fact that people in general are still uninformed that nicotine isn't as dangerous as it was always made out to be.....

The conclusion is a total non sequitur, because fewer people in Bangladesh use e-cigarettes to quit smoking, people in Bangladesh shouldn't be encouraged to use e-cigarettes to quit smoking? Nonsense.
