Hi all,

I have been using an ego-c for the last 3-4 months and in that time have broke 4 batteries from them being in my pocket.

The last one went yesterday but is just hanging on a works intermittently.

I have been looking at stronger better built alternatives and have come across the Precise + range.

I appreciate there is a wealth of info out there but I really need to make a quick decision as I dont want to be stuck without an e-cig. If someone could help me out with answering a couple of questions I would be extremely grateful.

I have only ever used the stock ego-c and understand that the Precise + is basically just a brilliantly made battery holder. What else would I need to order (Im aware I need batterys) with the Precise P to have it working as an ecig? I like the use of the tanks on the ego. Is there something similar I can use on Precise +?

Are there any alternatives to the Precise P line with similar build specifications? The lifetime warranty is a big thing in my opinion are there any other e-cigs that offer this?

I have only ever used the joyetech atomizers. Do I need to buy any special kind of atomizers at all?

Hi and welcome to ECF.
You'd be able to use a Vivi Nova or...a cartomizer+ tank with it. A Stardust Clearomizer would not fit unless you bought a 510-510 adapter as the SD has a skirt on it. I like the idea of the atomizer head being part of the body- usually a weak point with PVs. Your eGo fires at 3.4 volts and the Precise fires at 3.7 volts. Some info but more so a bump.

I use "Ressurector" cartos from Crystal Clear Vaping with tank and recently a Penelope on a P-18, they both work great. The build quality of the P-18 is well worth the price.

Actually to add...I bought a Mechanical Mod as my first PV over a yr ago and it still fires as good as the day I bought it. As artt has also stated re Resurectors/ SmoK Tech 1.7 XL single coil cartos. I began with Boges, next ST XL 1.7 and next ST carto+ tank and now Vivi Nova BUT I still love the occasional 1.7 carto vape. Here's a review:
