Super thick ejuice??

Posted this in the newbie section and realized maybe I'd have better luck getting an answer in this section.

I just got my kit in today along with several different juices, one of which is the "New Pineapple" from Vapor Bomb...I just pulled it out to fill a tank up and it was SOOOO thick that by the time I finally got it filled my fingers were killing me from squeezing it out of the bottle....is that normal?? I'm nervous to put it in my PV seeing as my first tank I filled with Nicotine Nirvana's fire and ice and it was not like that at all. :/

You can thin juice with a few drops of PG or distilled water.

That's the same ratio that BWB uses for Malty, and it's just you describe. I can barely get it out of the dropper. When I was using a syringe to fill cartos, it blew the needle off of my syringe a couple of times as I was trying to force it out -- so I think it is normal.

It never gave my 808 cartos a problem, and the little bit I had left when I got my Ego vaped better than anything else I've had in there since.

So I think you are OK.

Edit: Assuming you mean 70% VG / 30% PG

Yes I double checked it was 70% VG / 30% PG but after vaping away last night (I'm a newbie and got my kit yesterday) I seem to have broken out into really bad hives so I don't think I'll be vaping at all until they're gone....and maybe not at all

Anytime anyone has a problem here people blame PG. I think I read less than 10% of people have an allergy to PG.

But in this case I imagine you very well might! See if you can find some juice that's ALL VG. Some places have all VG juice but the nic base is PG so I'd contact the vendors and make sure the juice is 100% VG see if that will help you.

Contact Vapor Bomb, they're super nice. Explain what happened to you and see if you can get the juice in all VG.

OMG, I really feel for you! Hives are terrible!

You might have to try a little bottle of 100% VG and 100% PG. Try to narrow it down.

I have alllllll kinds of crazy allergies, I'm literally allergic to the world BUT I have never had a "nut" allergy of any sort or bean allergy....but I will say that as bad as this is after getting my meds from the doc yesterday the hives are now gone and I began vaping my Fire and Ice from Nicotine Nirvana and have had no issues so I'm thinking its a possibility that the allergy was toward the VG. I wrote NN and they said that its "about" a 60PG/40VG ratio on the fire and ice so maybe my allergy is to the VG? I also had a fish sandwich from Carls Jr so theres no telling if that is what caused it either, I'm going to continue to use the juice from NN and just kinda test the field so to speak. If I develop hives again then I will have to really test to figure it all out and maybe get a few small bottles of 100% PG and VG and test it that way.

Ugh such a pain for the first couple of days of vaping lol we'll see tomorrow though if I have broken out or not! This is the juice that I first tried when I tried my friends PV so hopefully I won't have the same issues. If I do...well at least I have the meds for it now! haha

I've been thinking about you and wondering how you were doing! I'm glad you're a little better.

A few years ago my friend and I joined NS. She got hives and narrowed it down to the soy content in the food. Very possibly it's the VG.

I can't use a lot of VG because I get a sort of heavy feeling in my chest (this could be in my head, who knows). I guess you have to experiment a bit.

Glad to hear you're feeling better! Maybe you can get the pinapple from Vapor Bomb in all PG?

Maybe it's even the flavoring. Maybe stay away from the pinapple for awhile.

Yeah I think I'll just have to toy around with it and see what I can/can't tolerate but as for now I am staying clear of anything more than the 40VG...I think I may even try to stick to around 20-30VG
