OK, I've been using ecigs for over 1 year, but never really understood how to dry burn. Heres a really good video on how to do it. There is no sound (its sub-titled), BUT heres how I interpreted the video (& so far saved myself over $12 on cleaning used Stardusts too):
1. I actually counted the number of seconds she dried the wicks (one-thousand-one, one-thousand two, etc).
2. When you do the dry burn, again I counted the number of seconds she held down the button, & the number of seconds between holding down the button:
-->> note: the number of times you have to do the button presses for the dry burn in 1 session, depends on how gunked the coil is. However, the take-home is: you do the dry burn UNTIL theres no more smoke coming off the coils.
***Optional: I also added for myself, to use a little dental brush, & brush the coils to loosen the gunk right before I Dry Burned the coils.
I feel so stupid for not understanding this for so long, but it was like a "Eureka!" moment for me, lol. HTH
