Background:
I ordered (3) 6mg/15ml liquids to try. Within a couple of vapes, I got a nic buzz. Assuming they accidentally mixed a higher level of nic, I sent the bottles back and reordered 3 more bottles of the same and they were fine. Funny thing is, they sent a bunch of 16mg samples as a gesture.

They said upon conducting "titration testing" on the 3 returned bottles, 2 of the bottles were 6.4mg which is within their quality control margin of error of +/- .5mg per ml. They also said " In addition, our quality control production records suggest that the components of the mixture pre-emulsification and solubilization are proper."

Since I nearly chain-vape and have never gotten a nic buzz off of 6mg liquid,
My question: is their acceptable margin of +/- .5mg per ml on 6mg, which is +/-8.33% on 6mg, a typical quality control acceptable level of error?
Thanks

I wonder about margin of error or incorrect nic levels too. I have not been at this long, but one juice vendor I recently used seemed to have more of a kick than the other juices I have been vaping from other vendors. Keep in mind I order strictly 24mg. from all of them. I wouldn't think one would get me a nic buzz and the others not. But, alas, here i sit, stoned on nicotine. Also one of my vendors charged more for the higher nic level where no one else has yet. I have purchased from a total of 5 different vendors so far, actually waiting for delivery from the latest 2, so really my issue seems to be between 3 vendors.

Considering that this industry is still unregulated an acceptable margin of error would be opinionated really. Were you looking to compare it that of the pharmaceutical industry?

For comparison I believe that MBV has a +/- 1mg margin. Don't quote me on this. I saw this somewhere, and I'm having trouble finding this on their website.

I vape 36 mg tobacco flavors. Sometime I can see a small difference in it being a tad less strong than the last batch (less Throat hit, and flavor). It seems like a crapshoot whether you get what you intended when you ordered and what you actually get. They can't be perfect on every juice. I myself would prefer that each bottle I get tastes excatly the same everytime. But I have learned it's just something that doesn't happen.

That is pretty out there.... and the suppliers response has NOTHING to do with the information in question lol! "mixture pre-emulsification and solubilization are proper" seems like a deflective response to me :)

Our QC procedures denote 1% variability in relation to the mg/mL strength in question. For example, a 6mg/mL would only be allowed a 5.94-6.06mg/mL range, while a 100mg/mL solution would be allowed a 99.0-101.0mg/mL range.

Not knowing my background, I was thinking the pre-emulsification and solubilization was a bad signal!
The 1% variability makes a lot of sense to me.
Thank you

Just the fact they send 16mg samples as a norm, though I order all 6mg, and they do not necessarily conduct accuracy sampling of their juices and they seem to have a high margin of error and they communicated "mixture pre-emulsification and solubilization are proper" (lol) I was concerned for vapors in general.
