Hi, I would like to mention something that I face many times when I visit e-cig websites. One thing that I have noticed missing from many websites when they give the details of their starter kits, is to mention if the battery is manual or automatic. Some of them they do mention it and some others mention it only on few products. Ofcourse you can understand from the pictures if you see a button but personally I think that it is something very important and usefull to know especially for newbs like me where they don't really know much and just looking to buy an e-cig. Maybe i am missing something here not sure.

Depends on the kind of sites you're hitting. Any good site should tell you up front. If it doesn't, move on to another website.

If you have one in mind that you're taking a look at, check the forums to see if it's a vendor registered here. If not, you might want to skip it, or ask someone first.

Maybe it's because I'm an old geek, if the website doesn't have a good full description of what their selling I move on and don't go back. I always check the "Contact Us" also, if it's just an email addy and nothing else I'm gone. If their not willing to even let you know what state their in how can you trust what their selling????? If they can't even put up a decent description of their items, do they even know if they work???

I stick with the vendors that are listed on the main forum page, that gives you more than one way to contact them. They've been around awhile and are known by the oldtimers, and you can check their sub-forums and see what people think of them.

I would not buy at any place that doesn't say. If it doesn't say then they can send you whatever they want. I would not just assume the photo is correct.

I also recommend not buying anywhere unless you know the real model number of the model, whether it is a good model, what it should cost (including the accessories and replacement parts), and where else you can get supplies accessories for it. I also recommend not buying anywhere that charges over $20 for a slim battery (over $16 for plain white), or doesn't sell blank cartridges and juices.
