Well, that is another great idea.

We would contribute with 5 bottles of any type of e-liquid of the signers choice incl shipping to nr.: 800! (seems to be 737 petition signers at this moment)

Just how do I found out the adress of this person?

I confirm the above offer. Just let me know and I will contact the person, when possible.

I'm not a supplier, but I'd be happy to sponsor a raffle for the next 500 signatures.

I'll put up the money for the prize up front.
I can send it to CASAA if it will be put aside for this.
Or whatever it takes.

Anything up to $100 would be fine.

Just let me know how to go about it.
And ideas for what the prize should be are welcome!!

How about a Tasty Vapor gift box, mixed to the winners liking?
Or a Chuck, or maybe just let the winner decide?

Seriously, just let me know.

Hmmm...that would be David Jones. Not sure how we can contact him, though - let me see if I can get his email addy....

Yep, I have it. Want me to let him know to contact you? We have to announce this somewhere, too!

I honestly have no idea how to go about doing that. I would keep it at 1,000 signatures though - we want to get those puppies a-signin'!

I guess we could call it a "$100 Vaping Credit" good at the vendor of your choice?

OK, we'll just pick 3 random numbers when we hit 1,000 then 2,000 and so on.

DC2 - winners will have to confirm their email address with me - so that shows who they are! My only concern is accidentally picking someone who isn't on the forum or just a friend of a vaper. That's easily worked out, though.
Perfect, just let me know what to do and it's done.
:)

I've PMd the mods to see if we can post about the petition donations outside of this forum - I'm afraid it would be pointless if it was only discussed in here.
Agreed.

After a little discussion with DC2 and Rolygate, we're going to post a thread in the fundraising forum and do a raffle for raising awareness of the petition vs. tying the raffle directly to the petition. (Don't want to be accused of "buying" signatures.) The ECF member's post number in the fundraising thread will be their raffle number. We can hold a drawing for every 1,000 signatures.

For those generous vendors donating prizes, I need to know if it's a one time donation or one prize for every drawing? Probably looking at a total of 10-15 separate prizes if donating for every drawing.

I know I said this was a good idea, but I can envision the same people posting hundreds of times per day in such a thread. I don't know that there is any way to prevent that. It could get kind of crazy.

Wish I had thought that through a little more.
:(

Got any good ideas?
