Hi

I've been reading a lot over the past couple of weeks and dithering endlessly about what to order and from which site?

I think my home vaping option will be an ego-C, but does anyone know a reliable Chinese based web supplier? I see people on the forum order from absoluteleycigs.com in Shenzhen but the prices seem quite high compared with other sites.

Main problem is I'm living in China and I get stared at enough already being foreign, female and smoking in public as it's not the done thing here for women so I'm also looking for something unobtrusive I might get away with during work breaks.

As far as I can see the only small, attractive looking one is the Janty mini-fogger, although it has a very short battery life it might just do. Or I can buy two, but it's pricey. I can't find that on any Chinese sites. Can I only get it outside?

My other problem is finding reliable juice locally, any suggestions on that? In the end, I know it's expensive but I think I'll end up ordering ecopure from the UK, but in the meantime I need something to get me started.

Any help appreciated,

Thanks....

Janty is a UK company. The China manufacturer is Joyetech aka Joye. Their Joye 306 is the same as mini-fogger (but only Janty mini-fogger has the painted design on them). And their 510 is similar - probably a bit more charge. 510 has a longer atomizer piece but if you use it with cartomizers then you don't use the atomizer. What I recommend in that very small size is Joye 510 MANUALS (for their fully sealed metal threaded end which makes them impossible to kill with juice leaks, and manuals make it easier to get a good hit every time). And most use Boge 3 ohm cartos with those (slim ecigs should only use single coil 2.5 to 3 ohm attachments).

A stronger slim small choice from China would be Kanger KR808D-1 - there is a shorty size the same size and short 180mah charge as 510. It's easier to find 2.6 ohm cartomizers for this model (like the ones Kanger makes for it). This model is 3.7v and with the 2.6 ohm cartos you get nice heat. Manuals are not totally sealed but again I recommend manuals - less work to get a good drag.

I'm back already. Not vaping yet, but with an Ego-C and liquid ordered.

The only place in China I can find cartomizers for a Joye 510 is Eastmall, but their checkout is malfunctioning for me and they don't respond to my emails.

Anyway, it occured to me that might be a good thing.

Because I'm getting cartomizers instead of using the atomisers and tanks I've put together my own 'beginner's set' and now I'm worried I may have missed something.

My order is for two Joye 510 manual batteries, a USB and wall recharger and a pack of 25 cartomizers. I found an online instruction manual. Is that it? Where do you suck on the electronic cigarette? Is that bit missing in my package? (Probably a stupid question, sorry :))

Hello & welcome Mollusc :)

A drip tip s really useful to use on cartomisers as they can get quite hot.

I'm in the UK & often buy from Health Cabin in China via a group order. They have good quality stock & excellent customer service -

Looks like a much better shop, thanks Chrissie and for the tip on the drip tip. They actually have some flavour free juice, which is something I was after.

Sadly, their Joye 510 cartomizers are sold out and looking at them they are nothing like the ones I was about to order, maybe I got that wrong.

These are the cartomizers on the Eastmall site 'with a soft tip'
510 Cartomizers (Pack of 25)

and these are the ones on Healthcabin
5pc Joye510 Empty Cartomizer(7 colors) [JOYE 510] - $7.00 : Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail--

they don't look like the same animals at all. Which kind should I be getting? None of them have the full spec. like Dormouse gave, but they say 510 friendly.

Just thought I'd give a little summary of my shopping experience trying to buy to deliver within China in case anyone else is trying to do the same. It's been more than slightly frustrating - seems the carts aren't set up for that.

As for support for Healthcabin and Eastmall, they pack up at lunchtime on Saturday and I was trying to do my shopping at the weekend so no responses to my problems.

Once Eastmall got back to me on Monday they were very helpful - it seems you cannot select delivery to China as the cart won't let you select a delivery method if you do that so you need to deliver to your home address and add your Chinese delivery address in the additional comments box.

Healthcabin were extremely unhelpful, just answered questions about what I wanted to buy and completely ignored my questions about their cart malfunctioning for me. I had read their FAQ and my home and delivery addresses had to be input the same (again Chinese delivery address put in the comments box), but their site kept chucking back a scrambled address at me and saying that they didn't match (well, of course not if they scramble it!). After trying to sync paypal to the scrambled address and vice versa and all sorts of permutations I gave up.

Finally! I changed the delivery method from airmail to EMS and it worked perfectly first time.

As they never responded to my payment problems I'd be inclined not to buy from them, except I wanted better juices and plain juice and I couldn't find another supplier.

Heaven-gifts seems to be a banned site by the Chinese, may be using 'heaven' in the web address, who knows? - I could use VPN software, but interesting........

In the end, I found this place most helpful and responsive www.cn-cigarette.com even though it looks a bit anonymous and dodgy (to me). Got my Ego-C from there. Seems cheap and they delivered for free, next morning.

Started vaping with my Ego C yesterday, early evening. I think I'm going to like using it during the day and especially in the evening. But, I did have a big problem waking up without a direct hit to my brain and resorted to a few cigarettes. Hoping I can phase that out over time. Don't think I'm getting as much nicotine as I'm used to because I felt like I'd been on a long-haul flight this morning and my first cigarette fair knocked me out. Did read the FAQ on vaping method and will continue practicing.......

Thanks again to everyone for the all the advice.....
