I am interested in finding out about affiliate programs any of you suppliers might have. For example; one site I know of gives 10% to any sale resulting from a link on my homepage.

I was thinking about trying to become a supplier but I am much to busy to be bothered. Being the capitalist pig that I am I would like to profit at least a little from all the free advertising I am doing for e-cigs. (I tell everyone I talk to about them pretty much.)

So how about it suppliers, do you have a program?

Hey guys, while we're on the subject, what would be the general opinion if I were to start using affiliate links? I have one affiliate account with Freesmoke, which I haven't promoted beyond asking a couple friends who I knew were going to order anyway to use my link, because I'm uncertain if that would be seen as crossing a line. It would certainly have no effect on my ratings or reviews; it would be along the lines of "If you do choose to purchase this product, please use my link."

Have I proven my credibility enough that you guys would understand? Or would that still be too much of a possible conflict of interests?

My reviews and their credibility is priority #1, and I don't want to damage that, but I am honestly underemployed and hard up for money right now. Including money for new products for review.

What do you think?

leaford,

I think your priority is money FOR YOU !! Its everyones dream regardless of their involvement.

Having an option that links people interested, whether it be for further investigating, curiosity, or to purchase should have no effect on simply offering a quick link to someone who would otherwise need to search for one. And if you should happen to make some money in the end for the effort you put forth..... so be it !!

Leaford, definitely understand. I have it setup so I can create a subdomain for each of my affiliates right now..for instance. leford.vapornine.com to make things simple-

But I think that's a little besides the point of what you're getting at. I think you're right when you say "if you're going to buy this product, please use my link"

I think you've proven your credibility beyond anyone's doubt, and people wouldn't mind a bit seeing that you're compensated for recommending a product or company that you've checked out- we all know you're not going to cut any slack! :)
