Oh......now I really, really want one. I think I could do it! thank you for the video.

I have a question though. What is in the juice that would produce a flame?

All of them do. :D I believe all juices has some base content of a flammable attributes. I've used a pg/vg blend and a strictly 100% vg. They all seem to work. I haven't tried 100% pg. I should, but I try to stick to vg as I believe I may be allergic to pg.

Also, as a caveat. If you do not have a torch or chef's torch, you can use a lighter or one of those long lighters used to start a fire in the fireplace or grill. It does take a lot longer to get the wick to glow and hot enough. It is do-able though.

The butane torch is really cheap and butane is even cheaper. Saves you some time too.

Hi Calamity,

Which warmth question. Are you talking about voltage or the CHID? Sorry, I've been out of it past couple of days. Hard at work playing Call of Duty :D

I am asking about the CHID as compared to an atty or carto... i.e. there's a range of LR 1.5 all the way to HV 3.?, with the LR's producing a warmer vape than the HV's, correct? I personally prefer a warmer, airey draw rather than a cooler tight draw. Since the CHID is an all-in-one how does it adjust to those ranges? Did I muddy the waters even more... sorry?

Oh, not at all. I was just wondering what you meant, so I can properly answer your question.

Absolutely, I'll discuss it in the video. The beauty of the RBA's is that it really is easier to make a LV or HV coil. It only matters on how much you wrap it. I've gotten one to go at 5 ohms. It didn't really work, but I may be able to get to work with a kicked Silver Bullet. Anywho... That's another day of tinkering. I usually run a 1.4-1.8 ohm RBA. I like lower ohms to get a better vape.

If you use a standard 3.7v battery, you really should be using lower ohm RBA (like a 1.4 or 1.8). It does produce a warmer type vape, which you are accustomed to. If you have a Variable Voltage/Wattage mod, then you can run a higher ohm RBA and get the same performance.

It really is up to preference. I think what's good at starting at a low ohm is that you can always go higher. If you go with a higher ohm then there is a ceiling you will hit based on your battery and mod.

I'll talk more about it on the vid. :D

I did not know that. Learn something new. =)

When I saw you with the torch and needle I thought "hmmm, blow myself up or start a fire and make a bloody mess with all the times I would stick myself" LOL

I shouldn't tell you that. You might be afraid to send it to me if I win. I would be willing to sign any legal paperwork absolving you of any liability. :D

Thanks, you made that very concise. I use a mechanical 5V mod and a (no-no) LR 1.5 - 1.8 atty. Some say this can't/shouldn't be done but *knock-on-wood* I have yet to pop one. It gives me a perfectly super warm vape and since I drip, a clean juice taste. I just ask because those two features are a mandatory requirement for me. Looking forward to the video but I have slow connection so it may take all day for me to buffer, watch, buffer, watch! :)

haha! I may just have to send you some paperwork to sign. j/k Seriously, it really is easy. It can't be that hard. It took me 10 minutes to do it by video. haha.

I know what you mean. People have different tastes. I like to refer to it as your "vape palate". What's good to one person is bad to another. Taste is merely subjective and that includes how warm or how cool you like your vape. I vape LR atty's at 4.0 - 4.2 volts.
