So uhh, anyone playin' anything cool?

I bought and beat the newest New Vegas DLC the day it came out (and fully explored all areas), pretty short DLC.

I still haven't beat Two Worlds 2 (not very many people like this one, but I do :) )

Nor have I beaten Dead Space 2 yet.

All I've really been playing recently is Gears of War 2.

Highly anticipating Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, looks to be pretty beasty :D

and of course, Gears of War 3 :p

What's everyone playin'? Any other 360 users wanna smash some fools live sometime?

I've been chipping away at LA Noire on PS3, plan to go back to Dragon Age 2 on 360 for a mage playthrough when it's done, and then move on to the free copy of inFamous Sony is going to hook me up with for all my stolen personal data.

I will probably fire up both New Vegas DLCs sometime in the near future too, haven't checked them out yet.

I eventually plan on picking up L.A. Noire, but I have been on this weird trend with Rockstar (after playing Bully) and I just cannot seem to get into their games, maybe Noire will be the exception but I couldn't play Red Dead for very long before wanting to play something else.

I only played the demo for DA:2 - I do plan on eventually picking that one up as well, but after playing the demo, I decided to wait on a GOTY edition. I still haven't even played all of the DLC for Origins yet :D and I dropped like $120 on that one when it came out ;)

After paying $20 for both Dead Money and Honest Hearts, I'd say it would almost be better to wait until they go on sale (does PS3 do sale pricing on DLCs like the 360? I dunno?) Dead Money a lot of people didn't like because it seemed to take you a little out of the FO element, so to speak. It's more about a creepy atmosphere and survival and I personally really enjoyed it!

Honest Hearts was as I had said pretty short for real. I take my time and look in every crevice, container, location for neat and unusual weapons or stuff to decorate my hotel room in Novac (yes, I am a nerd :D) and I got probably 4 hours out it? Not too bad, but may not be $10 worth to some peoples. Though, the story was pretty neat.

Dead Island, that new zombie survival game, looks pretty neat! It's coming in August. I'm a little out of touch with all releases because of school and what not, but it looks like there a good deal of neat games coming out this year.

Still playing Dragon Age 2 (don't have a lot of time for gaming lately :-( ) . Modnation Racers when I want to drive, and Transformers:War for Cybertron when I want to blow stuff up. If you haven't tried that last one, they FINALLY got a Transformers game done correctly. It's definitely a good time.

I actually really enjoyed playing the Multi-player on Transformers : War for Cybertron. I've never owned the game, but, my buddy has it and on numerous occasions in the past have we played for hours on end, having a blast! It reminds me a lot of Gears of War, not only because of the 3rd person view, but just the shooting and overall feeling. The transforming is ultra-smooth and it really is just a great time.

Never played Modnation, I don't have a Ps3 though I plan on aquiring one for at the very least, a blu-ray player. There have been some exclusives I've been wanting to try as well, one being Demon Souls ;)

I've been playing Crysis 2 on the the 360. It's good so far. I got bored with Black Ops but I still play occasionally. Just got Duke Nukem Forever but my gf is playing it right now. lol I'm looking forward to BF3, MW3 and Gears 3. Skyrim looks good to. I'm probably going to pick up Dungeon Siege 3 next week when it releases. I DL'd the free copy of inFAMOUS from PSN but haven't played it yet.

I'm probably going to pick up Dungeon Siege 3 next week when it releases.

I just played the demo to this last night, in fact. It's okay, I love and I mean love dungeon crawler RPGs :D, and that's what this is, all of the way. The leveling is interesting, as you get to pick a new skill, level up said or previously owned skills, and talents on each level up. When leveling up an individual skill, you get to choose between 2 separate attributes, i.e. Throwing Spear - choose either 1.5% bleed damage over course of 'x' amount of time or 2.adds 20% chance to set enemy on fire. And that's pretty cool!

There's a ....-ton of equipment in the demo alone, which is awesome. I love hoarding equipment and rare items, and this game looks like it'll definitely deliver in that spectrum. But, and here's the big ole but, the combat abd character movement is slow, uninspired and boring, in my opinion. There's no run button, though there is a roll, but that doesn't seem to help you get anywhere any faster and you can't even use it while in a town. It takes forever to get from point A to point B.

The default attack is meh, one button tapping unless you use skills, which some are pretty neat and the ability to customize them to your liking is neat. This game reminds me of Sacred 2 Fallen Angel, but with better graphics. As far as I can tell, Sacred has more skills available to learn, but Dungeon Siege still looks like a neat game to play through. Personally, I am gonna wait on this one to get down to bargain bin pricing, but I believe that I will still buy it someday. It's at least worth playing the demo, that's for sure.

New Game Informer shows that Risen 2 is coming out next year :D I love Risen, it has its faults to be sure, but I loved playing through it.

Darksiders 2 is also coming, the closest thing to Zelda without playing Nintendo :)

Anyone play Witcher 2 yet? I hear it may be coming to the consoles ;)

Have you tried Torchlight (360/PC)?

I am aware of the PC game and the Xbox Live Arcade version, is there a full version coming to consoles?

A buddy of mine has it and tells me it's great! I will eventually invest into it, when it goes on sale ;) I am a bargain gamer, I've already spent too much in the past and now, unless the game is just too sweet to pass up immediately, I just wait for a cheaper price :)

The XBL arcade version is the same as the PC version just with an updated UI and controls designed for the 360 controller. The sequel with be released in the same way to XBLA. It's a great game, especially if you like the the Diablo series.

You're making me want to spend money :D Money I don't have!!!

Hmm, perhaps I can make a little trade on craigslist for some m$ points, lord knows I'v enough games to spare

Have you tried Torchlight (360/PC)? That's a really fun dungeon crawler. I bought it through Steam during a holiday sale for $5. The sequel is supposed to be out sometime next month with MP/co-op features. I imagine they'll release it on the 360 as well since the first one was.

If you haven't played Sacred 2 : fallen angels you really should check it out. Its around 20$ and I have logged 45 hours MP, and 70 in single player mode. Very DII/crawler style. a few minor glitches here or there. One of the best rewards was doing a quest to find a bands instruments and the reward was a full length, fully rendered performance of the band (Blind Guardian). I love the "staff of vocal amplification" and the "Axe" guitar XD

and torchlight was half price a couple of months ago. You should sign up for live rewards. I get 30 free ms pts a month for a 5 min survey and 200+ when I renew my memberships.

Is this directed to me? Torchlight was also on sale for 33% cheaper than usual, just last week. I didn't pick up in it though, mainly because I have 1,200 MSP and I am saving 800 of those for Old World Blues, the newest DLC for Fallout New Vegas.

I am hoping that I can stay entertained long enough for Gears of War 3 and Elder Scrolls V, without having to purchase loads of new games :)

just to everybody...it really is worth it. I have banked 360 pts so far (I know, strange number, but only untill the next survey).

maybe it was in the rewards email for the 50% off.

I am a 1000pt for the win as long as they aren't crap kind of player, so your hours may not be so high on sacred. My friend who goes linear style through the game is about 60% through it at 40 hours.
