Ok, I wasn't sure whether to post this in the juice forum or the hardware forum, because I don't know what the cause is. But here's what's going on. :?:

I just got my first Vape Wild order in the mail (all 18mg), tried all of the juices in old school Joyetech 510 atomizers, and I'm happy with 99% of the flavors. The next day my new Beyond Vape Silo Lite showed up in the mail, I threw some Vape Wild On Cloud Custard in with an Aspire BVC, let it wick for plenty of time, and gave it a vape.

BOOM. Classic nic sick effects after about 3 puffs. Now, I've been vaping for years, and my regular juice is Halo Sub Zero at 18mg... and I actually used to vape 24mg juice. On top of that, for the past few weeks I've been using Aspire Mini Vivi Nova S tanks with the exact same 1.8ohm BVC coils, and I can chain vape them with no problem.

So... any thoughts on what my issue is? (A) does Vape Wild tend to be more harsh than the other hundreds of juices I've used, or (B) is the Silo Lite just way more efficient than the Aspire stuff?

Thanks...

Considering that you've been using the same coils in another device at the same nic levels and not had a problem, getting nic sick after 3 drags suggests to me there is a lot more than 18 mg of nic in that juice. That is just my opinion however, so take it with a grain of salt.

I would email Vape Wild and tell them the story. If they made a mistake with the juice they might already know about it, or maybe they can reassure you that the nic level is correct.

For me I started up after a long time away from vaping and quiting analogs about a month or so ago. Personally I dont think its your hardware I think its the juice . There is still no regulation of the industry we are still in its infancy some would prefer to keep it unregulated and free as do I. with regulation you will see a lot tighter tolerances in the industry its gear and the juice production. I know for a fact i have bought 18 mg juice and it blew my head off it was more like 24 0r even 36 mg strength. i have bought other brands and 18 mg is like vaping 6 mg juice . If they started to test juice for mic levels I'm sure a lot of companies would noir pass the test some are way to much and some are barely there. In my experience they are always to high or to low . you probably got a hot batch and it is loaded with nicotine good luck and the best to you Remi Love

How fast did this happen? It would take a lot to get nic sick off 3 hits in only a matter of minutes.

Did you shake the bottle before filling the tank? If not there is a possibility that you got a boat load of nic - and not much anything else.

Huh. I had NO idea that was even possible. I guess I never thought about it, and while I did shake the bottle, it definitely wasn't vigorous or long. This is why I still post questions on the forum; there is ALWAYS something new to learn. Thumbs up.

I just filled an Aspire clearo (same type of coil) with a different Vape Wild flavor, also 18mg, and we'll see how it goes.

New vape vernacular. Nic Pocket as in you may have hit a nic pocket in your juice bottle. Hope your symptoms subside.

Ha, "nic pocket", that's good stuff. I did a forum search and I thought you had invented that term, but it turns out someone used it once in 2011. Go figure!

Update: different tank, different flavor from the same vendor, and I feel gross again. I guess I'm just sensitive to the brand. This is the FIRST time this has ever happened, and I've bought dozens of brands of juice. This is a huge bummer, but not a big deal. Halo SubZero for life!

Case closed. Goodnight, please tip your wait staff.

That's entirely possible; strangely enough, I get that from Halo juice -- just makes me nauseous after a while, and it feels like nic sick, for no good reason. I'm thinking it's gotta be some additive or other, some brands use something, some brands use others, and everyone is sensitive to different things, in different degrees. Very weird.

I was trying to enjoy some Havana Bourbon from VW.

Besides getting a soap taste I could not relieve with copious amounts of water, I had to turn on the fan at my desk to relieve myself of the flush of nic sick.

    Therefore, I prefer ITCVapes.

    BTW - 18mg, MVP2, Evod, 2.2 coil.

Bad juice or not compensating for equipment differences.
I can Vape 6-9 all day on my T3's/etc. Even the occasional 12mg.
Switch to the Kayfuns and 6mg is the limit.
Switch to my Orchid Tanks or my RDA's and it drops to 1-3mg MAX

If your e-liquid works in any given setup you have but not in another, it isn't the e-liquid. Just use that strength in the device it works in for you.
DIY is nice, I can whip up whatever I need whenever needed. Just made 220ml of various flavors earlier this evening.
Will be mixing another 50-100ml in the am so I can get them all in the UC to speed steep.:D

Thanks for the input everyone. Very helpful, and I even learned something, which is always great and unexpected. Since my priority is to not smoke as many cigarettes, and not so much to have a mandatory collection of a bazillion different flavors of juice on a shelf, I'm not going to bother re-ordering this juice in a lower nic, buying VG to cut it with, Emailing the vendor, etc. I'll just leave Vape Wild as a place I visited on my journey and continue to move forward, vaping my Halo Sub Zero happily.

As it is, even after vaping for almost 5 years, I still generally "crack" on a daily basis and smoke at least 1 cigarette. But it's the 18-19 a day I'm avoiding which I'm trying to be happy about. But my point is, if I dwell on things like this it'll put me in a hole, which we all know is tough to get out of.

Now that I know I'm a one-juice kinda guy, it's made the Joyetech eGrip more appealing (as it has a built in tank that's hard to clean) so I just placed an order for one last night. In the future I may try ITC though, they look like another cheap option to try for fun. Not a big fan of waiting 2 weeks to steep before trying something I bought though.

Anyway, this got waaaaay too deep and personal for a dumb e-juice thread so I'll let you all get back to your .0000001 ohm coil building. :D Sincerely - thanks though, I love this forum.

I've vaped 18-24mg all day for over four years. I take nasal snuff at work. I smoke a cigar after dinner. I never get nic sick.

Switching to modern gear recently I've been struggling to get my nic right. Bought 6mg, got nic sick. Ordered 3mg. Vaped 3mg all day, got really nic sick today. Next stop 1.5mg.

Equipment has everything to do with it. In my case I am subohming around 25-30watts, and it's delivering a lot of nicotine even at 3mg. Well and the fact that I'm the sort that can't stop hitting my device.

If I was just hitting it as needed for nicotine I'd be fine at 6mg, but I never stop. Modern equipment + chain vaping = way lower nic than you'd ever thought you'd vape.
