Finally had my first beer festival(World Beer Fest, Raleigh NC) this weekend since starting vaping. Have been a little worried because I usually smoke cigarettes heavily during a beer fest, and I have always had a cigar (either Hop infused or bourbon dipped) at each of the WBF's since I started attending them 10 years ago. Picked up a K100 (in 18350 mode) with a few filled EVOD's and a spare charged 18350 battery just for the event, didn't really want to haul around the eVic/Protank while inebriated. Did great, passed the Cigar tent without even pausing. No cigarettes, no cigars.

Also saw several other vapers out there, didn't get to meet with all of them that I saw, but did speak with a few of them. I saw 1 eVic/Evod that one guy was using, quite a few people using the blu disposables, 1 zmax, and a few with njoy Kings.

Wat to go. I wished I would have known about the WBF, I may have gone to it.

It is well worth going to attend. They do one in Durham in September/October, and one in Raleigh in April each year. They also do one in Columbia Sc in January and Richmond VA, but I am not sure on the Richmond dates. I attend every Durham and Raleigh fest, I have not attended the Columbia or Richmond festivals. More information is available at All About Beer Magazine » General Information

Also, if you are able, Savor is absolutely worth it. Savor is a Craft Beer/Food paring event that pairs prepared foods with specific craft beers to compliment each other. Typically it has been held in DC, but this year they moved it to NY instead, so I am skipping it. It is supposed to return to DC next year, and I will probably return to it next year if they bring it back to DC.
