What is the lowest setting? R U using volts or watts?

R U getting burnt on mvp also? Did tank ever give you a good vap (without burnt) ?

First off, you need to change the head after getting burnt since its done.

Cheers

It's not the SVD, it's the ProTank.
1.8 is pretty low, but I use em all the time.
And I'm using a ProTank on an SVD a LOT.
Most often, a ProTank "out of the box" can't keep up getting juice to the coil, so you get "dry" burnt tasting hits.
You want to remove 1/2 of the "flavor wick" that lies ON TOP of the coil.
There's a good video or 3 about how to do it. Basically, you have to pull, jiggle, yank the air tube off. It may be tight but it'll come off (and go back on). Then use tweezers and pull out a couple of the silica threads - leave SOME in, or your coil will get FLOODED with too much juice, but it'll vape WAY better with just a little in there.
I do this for all my ProTanks, and get better vapor, and no leaks.

(note - for some reason, I DON'T find I have to do this with a ProTank MINI - weird).

You can't adjust volts AND watts - it's one or the other!
If you're at say 7.5 watts, what it does, is it "reads" the coil resistance, and sends the right amount of voltage so that you get 7.5 watts (whether that coil is 1.8 or 2.4, etc). So it's kind of easier...
If you're using Volts, you're just doing that yourself.

Make sense?

what do i do about the volts? should i leave it on 1 setting or move that around?

Thought I was the only one that liked 1.8's around here, lol.
That's what I've been buying - they just seem to average 1.9 or 2.0 out of the box...(Kanger - I'm not into building 'em).
:)

Pffft. I'm rebuilding them at 1.5 ohms with 2mm wick (adding a 1mm flavor wick on top) and hitting it at 8 watts on the SVD. And lovin' it!

Alright made all (most) of the changes yall suggested, just vaped my svd again...................... AMAZING! everything is perfect, and using the short battery i actually find it more compact then my mvp to carry around, sucks the battery life cant be the same :(

edit: pre these replies i was gonna sell my svd, i had kinda given up on it a tad.... glad i didnt follow through!
