Sweet flavors and aging coils...

Do sweet flavors age coils more quickly? Maybe gunk them up?

I've been vaping Custards Last stand and a few other dessert flavors on my Atlantis with .5ohm coils. I'm getting no more then 3 days or 25ml out of a coil. Even 2 days in, the sweetness is gone and the vape isn't as tasty. If money was no object, I'd be replacing coils 2x a day.

At the B&M, they suggested I should get about a week out of them. That surprised me.

Yes yes yes, at least in my experience. I can vape my savory clear juice for a week, almost 105ml but with my beloved honey sweet juice I changed after just two days=30ml. Bummer but the dragon must have it .

Yep my sweet Strawberries and Cream DIY gunks the hell out of my wicks; have to dry-burn and rewick about every other day. For gunking juices, a rebuildable is really the only thing that makes sense.

Yes, my custard vapes (see sig) at 70vg make my coil black, that's why I've been so impressed with the Starre coils, (pre-built), day 20 on the same coil and still going strong, try that with a Kanger coil...

The thing is, the gunk on a coil can be burned off, and all you need to replace is the wick. Much cheaper than constantly replacing the entire coil/wick thingie.

Still on the same coil, it's starting to go a very dark brown on one side where the parallel wires are so I think its on it's last legs, I'll have to see how the next new one goes..In theory the new Starre temp coils should last even longer..
A little of topic really but I just mixed spearmint with a custard vape, it should of been the worst vape in history, I did it for a joke on my poor wife but she loved it, I tried it and it's soooooo good
