I'm making a batch of blackberry champange juice with some sourener. I've never used sweetener or sourener in my juices; how many drops would ECF suggest for a 15ml bottle? I am using Lorann Tart & Sour.
For sweetener I use 1drop per 5 mil and taste...add more if needed. The sour stuff I add 3 drops per 10 ml. It seems to work for me. Just be careful with the sour stuff. I get a sore mouth when I vape it too often. Like when I eat a bag full of sweet and sout candy. It seems to be rough to my mouth.
I get the sweetener from TPA. 1 drop for every 2ml works for me... just start off on the light side and add if you need more... easier to put more sweetener in if it's not sweet enough than to add more nic/pg/vg/flavor if it gets too sweet.
You've really got a sweet tooth! hey, whatever works for you to keep you off the analogs. I like sweet juices, too. I usually add about 8-10 drops per 10ml.
May I ask which sweeteners you all are using? I have a favorite juice that I am trying to duplicate (well, as close as possible) and I know it needs a sweetener, I am just not sure which one to use. As simple as possible would be best for me please. Thanks!
I have used Ez-Sweetz, which is liquid sucralose. You can google liquid sucralose and find others as well. Lately, I've been using TPA cotton candy flavoring, which is a solution of ethyl maltol. When you use it just to sweeten, it doesn't taste like cotton candy, just sweet. I have heard that some like marshmallow flavoring to sweeten.
I am using Lorann's Tart & Sour. I heard people typically use 5-15 drops of this stuff for a 10ml bottle, but I couldn't taste it at 15 drops so I doubled it. Makes my DIY blackberry champagne taste absolutely delicious.
Thank you my4jewels & GroovyGrapefruit! Hmmmm, wonder which one the vendor uses??? Isn't THAT the million dollar question? lol
That EZsweetz looks pretty potent! One drop = one packet of sweetener?? Do you remember if it took very little added to your mixes when you used it? Just wondering as a guide should I go with that one.
The thing you have to remember about vaping is that it takes much higher concentrations of flavor ans sweeteners than food. It can be very deceiving. I like my juice sweet, so I'll usually add about 8 drops of Ez-Sweetz to a 15ml bottle. The bottle lasts a long time.

Be advised the one I am using is a sourener, not sweetener. A lot of people are saying it doubles as a flavor enhancer. The bottle even says to add a little bit to enhance fruit flavors, and a lot to sour. At 15 drops I could really taste the blackberry (I used 60% blackberry, 40% champagne in a 100% VG juice, with about 25% flavor), and at 30 drops I could really taste a tart champagne with a tinge of blackberry. It's just the taste I wanted.
Great info both of you, I appreciate it very much. You will be hearing a lot more from me (warning! hahaha) soon. As of now I only have banana cream flavoring (my fave vape) but will be ordering a bunch more to play with soon. FUN!!!!
sweetener aka sucralose is safe for body consumption but what about lung consumption aka vaping? anyone knows since it can't be broken down and has a high temperature resistance
