Sweetener

Hi,

I would like to know if all juices with sweet flavorings have sweetener used in them? If I want to DIY, besides the sweetener that is being sold together with the flavors (eg. TFA sweetener) what other sweetener that I can use?

I know nothing when it comes to making you own e-juice. I do know this, an e-juice cook is like a magician and they are not going to just give up there secrets. Your just going to have to do tons of research on this issue

a lot of the sweetness can sometimes come directly from the Veg glycerin used in the mixes, in its unmixed form it is sweeter then sugar and tastes good vaped with nothing added to it.

but some of the sweetners used are:
Sucralose
ethyl maltol
Corn Syrup

get your post count up so you can leave this area and head over to the DIY forums, there you find a lot of info about things like this.

I need to look at this ethyl maltol stuff too. I love my mixes but I get no sweetness taste.

DYI'ing juice is easy, using a calculator like eJuice Me Up, or just mixing Nic. PG, VG with a TFA flavor of your choice, and you can tweak the exact vape that you want. You add the sweetener to your choice.

Don't forget liquid stevia and Ezsweetz. But I prefer ethyl malto.

Oh keep in mind the more organic the more it will likely burn and cake on the atty. IME.

don't use real sugar,,it will caramelize on the atty and ruin it

MIx 1/4 tsp of ethyl maltol crystals in 10ml of plain pg. You may need to heat it slightly to get it to dissolve. Sit in warm water and shake. Makes a very good sweetener.

I'm lazy. I get my main DIY flavor from here:

It has flavor and sweeteners premixed. I just add PG, VG and nic concentrate.

This is what i do as well. Just remember too it takes a while to steep so dont keep adding and adding lol about 4 drops of this mixture in a 10ml bottle would be about max of where you wanna be. Too much and you get the carmelizing everyone was saying.

I use ethyl maltol in all my mixes. It's the only sweetener I use. I use about 6 drops max, but I make 30ml or more.
