Hi everyone,

I recently made several DIYs and I've only received two comments, lacking of flavor and lacking of sweetness.

Flavors I used are from Capella, FW, TPA/TFA and mostly standalone. Flavor percentage at 10% only as i do not want to over flavor.

I recently bought TPA's Sweetener, EM 10%, Marshmallow and Sour.
Will there be a problem using all these sweetener in one recipe at 1%-2%? Will there be a problem adding Sour (to spike up the flavor) if there are sweeteners included?

Sample recipe would be:

15% Cap Raspberry
1% EM
2% Sweetener
1% Marshmallow
1% Sour

Looks like raspberry is too high %. Alot of flavors are sweet when mixed togather and steep some. Can add something else to rasberry to bring flavor out more. On a dragon fruit recipe im working on I had suggestions on adds a little stawberry to help. There bunch of blogs that will help you on here too. Danny45 and hoosiers has alot good info

The first I've done is at 10% Raspberry, steeped for a week, the flavor and sweetness wasn't spot on..

I found out that many of the most successful e juice companies steep their juices (ready for this) , a full 3 months before shipping and selling them , that is amazing to me .

I was shocked but it appears to be accurate , that pretty much tells you just how important very long steep times are to these companies .

Waiting a week is very very short by comparison and i wouldn't expect much of a change at all with a week .

I did notice many juices i have made were way over sweetened after 2 months of steeping when i added sweetener in the beginning , never judge right away .

I've noticed (and experienced) this too...

I posted this in another thread, but after a few drinks, I got to looking at my coffee table, and found a juice I made that was dated 12/14/15 I thought "lol, this is gonna taste like crap... imma drip it". Sure enough it was NOTHING like the juice I thought I made. Sweet, flavorful, smooth, STRONG without being offensive. This is the key secret I feel for most of these expensive juice companies.
