Bought a higher nicotine e liquid, was only one the store had and was disgusting and no menthol taste at all, added a mint Flavoring to it but need to add more cause I can still taste original taste though it's much better. Need a sweetner added to it until I get better liquid I ordered online. Any suggestions. I am looking for something that is easily available and maybe perhaps already in my posession, or any other things I can easily get from a store say like Walmart I suppose. .thanks

Lots of places use sucralose as their sweetener which is in splenda, but if you hunt around online some juice vendors sell it specifically for e juice and I'd say a reputable juice company would be your best bet.

NO!

Splenda is NOT what people are Using. Splenda is a Sucralose "Based" Sweetener. And contains Very Little Sucralose.

Splenda usually contains 95% dextrose (D-glucose) and maltodextrin which the body readily metabolizes, combined with a small amount of mostly indigestible sucralose. Sucralose is made by replacing three select hydrogen-oxygen groups on sucrose (table sugar) molecules with three chlorine atoms. The tightly bound chlorine atoms create a molecular structure that is remarkably stable.[16] Sucralose itself is recognized as safe to ingest as a diabetic sugar substitute,[17][18] but some Splenda products may contain sugars or other carbohydrates that should be evaluated individually. Research as of 2003 suggested that the amount of sucralose that can be consumed on a daily basis over a person's lifetime without any adverse effects is 15 mg/kg/day,[19] or about 1 g for a 70 kg (150 lb) person. This was revised downward in 2008 to 9 mg/kg/day, or about 0.6 g.[

Splenda - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

If you Want to use Sucralose, Great. It is a Very Sweet Sweetener. Buy it from a Source that sell e-Liquid DIY Supplies. It should be Pure Sucralose in PG.

Don't Use Splenda.

Sorry, should have clarified there I wasn't advising to use splenda, or any other kind of sugar substitute powder, you've got no idea what might be created when you vape them, I was just stating that sucralose is an ingredient in splenda.

No Problem.

It is just a Huge Misconception with Many People that Splenda is Sucralose.

And Many people do Not Understand that there can be Bulking Agents and Fillers in "Sucralose Based" Sweeteners that are found in Grocery Stores.

I haven't tried this yet, but I intend to, so take it for what it's worth ...

Several members use pure Stevia. I have read that the NuNaturals brand (sold at GNC and probably other places) is good, and that there are 2 kinds - the rebaudiana type is said to have a better taste.

I make my own juices and plan to try this in my recipes. The brand/type I mention above is in a PG base, because stevia is sooooo sweet that it is nearly impossible to use straight. The fact that it's all natural, and soooo sweet, and already in a PG base, has made me want to try it. I am wondering if it is easier on coils than sucrolose.

Perhaps search the forum for Stevia and ask some of those using it how it is working for them.

Interesting - I had not seen that, thanks!

Although his biggest concern seems to be that it spoils from heat and some people said it caused a "wet dog" taste -- ewww! But strange that I've seen several people say they use it (and surely they don't like the taste of wet dog LOL)

I will reconsider... but if something else doesn't work out with these coils I may have to try it anyway.

He also mentions the size of the molecule:

"Too big a molecule to purposely inhale in my opinion."

I'm not a chemist, so I rely on his knowledge.
