Beckah54: I'm generally not the type to stick my nose in others business, but I would like you to consider something w/o getting offended. Since you love dachshunds (I had one myself), why not post a pic of one, rather than that baby w/ a cig? I say that because it reminds my of a very similar pic I say displayed on CNN where they were blasting the pic as child abuse. My point is that we are trying to gain acceptance and support. I suspect some of those who are looking into the subject may well come to this site to check it out. I can't think of anything that would give them more ammunition to smear us than referencing a pic of a baby smoking. Do what you will, but please consider this good advice. Let's all try to set a good example and gain as much public support as possible. Dr. G.

I understand your sentiment but where would you draw the line?
Is the one below not potentially offensive? It is in this thread.

I could trawl through the forum and find hundreds of potentially offensive avatars/posts/content, should we do that and remove them all? It is up to the individual member and the moderators and if someone chooses to express their personality with humourous irony then so be it.

First: Congrats jj2 :thumb:

Second: cruisedoc, even though you're entitled to your opinion, you really should have expressed it either in another thread or even more properly in a PM to beckah54. And yes I know new members can't send PMs until after a certain number of posts but I don't think that it was so urgent that it couldn't have waited until you could rather than interrupting someone elses thread with it.

Third: I'd agree with Shining Wits response to your post anyhow.

Fourth: back to the OP :

I've been going to a gym and doing an exercise class in the pool.
Actually I do one and a half classes (love the water). In between classes, I swim laps. Today, this 60 year old, who was taking Advair and using an inhaler before my vaping days, swam 3/4 of a length of the pool on one breath.:)

Congrats again ;)
