yeah 3 parts
outer press button.
Button housing
and the central spacer that contains the wiring, 2 copper contacts and the micro switch.
If you see a white chalky encrusted substance where the micro switch is, its time to clean it.
Other than that, Pures moker sell the internal central spacer part (switch assembly i think they call it).

I know they sell the switch housing but I was under the impression that all hard parts were under warranty for 6 months?

What IS the best way to clean the switch housing?

Being a mere woman...lol....I didn't know a thing about cleaning this stuff. I took the switch out and used a clean cloth and then an eraser on the brass. Working like a champ again. Thanks for all your help.

Make sure to use the eraser on the contacts of the adapter also. Do the cleaning about once every couple of weeks.

Just cleaned the contacts using the pencil eraser method. I thought, "There's no way that it could be something just this simple." WOW, was I wrong! The thing is, it didn't look like the contacts were dirty. Then after they are bright n shiny again and reassembled...nice. The difference is like night and day.

Thank you guys. Sometimes the answer really can be the simple one.

I saw a post where someone recommended using MAAS metal cleaner on the adapter threads. I have some of that. Anyone else agree that it would work well?

Closet Toker suggests we use MAAS.
i asked him which department within Wal mart sold this stuff, because i thought it was some kind of automotive polish. (That mouse would be interested in!):D

He told me this MAAS was found in :
"Kitchen cleaners.... down from the brooms/mop heads. The Grocery section."

WOW the vapor production has increased with a simple eraser. Thanks guys and gals. Very helpful info in this thread. I took the switch out and cleaned the heck out of it and now I notice the vapor is also warmer. And the throat hit has also jumped up a few notches as well. I will be doing this on a weekly basis from now on. I really commend the design of that switch now that I have seen that is also a custom piece. Holly crap this thing really hits harder now. This is what I expected. Now I get it. Just when you though it couldn't get any better.....lol...
