Unfortunately, I fell off the horse a couple of years back, but I'm now switching back to vapor! After reading some of the newest Intro / FAQ articles, I can see that a lot as changed. My device of choice was the BE-112 (801), but that seems to have been replaced by the eGo + modification. I never used cartridges, always preferred to drip; had bought a 510 prior but didn't like it nearly as much as the 801. Basically, just wanted to check in and get an opinion before buying a bunch of eGo parts. Thanks!

Welcome Back :) If you're thinking eGo, then go for the eGo-c and right now I'd stick with the A sized tanks. The thing about eGo batts is that the new c's have better protection for overcharge and you can put almost anything on them - even, with the right adapter, the 801 atomizers if you want. As far as dripping goes - the 306 low resistance (1.5 - 1.8 ohm) atty is a good one. I find the cisco from Avidvapers.com is longer lasting than some of the joye 510's or 306's that I've had - get yourself a good 'drip tip' that is for the 306 atty if you go that way.

There is also the EMDCC's (ego mega dual coil cartomizers) - they are huge for ejuice volume 3x+ the size of the old 801 cartridge - self contained with two coils and filler - rated at @1.7 ohms and run well on an eGo battery. The smaller 'boge' cartomizers are also popular.

And the tanks that come with the eGo-c are filler-less and are, for me... ;) ... as close to dripping one can get without dripping - on an eGo. There is the bottom feeding mod - reo mini - that has an ejuice built in that you just squeeze when you need more ejuice - it feeds and atty (again, for me, the cisco 306lr) and that is also 'near dripping' quality and vapor.

I'm sure others will chime in.... again - Welcome Back and good luck.

Welcome back. So much new that you should keep reading before you buy.

REOs are great if you like dripping without the work and don't need the cigarette look (my PV of choice). There are variable voltage options and load of new tanks around. Egos are a good place to jump back in though, but keep in mind they are only 3.2 volts which may not satisfy you if you like a hotter vape.

Welcome back. I was also gone for a long time and then returned about six and a half months ago.
What have you missed? Lol! A LOT! Everything has changed, it's astounding! I would say it's kind of equal to living out in the boondocks with a house land line, and then discovering the iPhone 4s and all its Apps and internet access. It took me wuite a few weeks of constant reading here on the forums to try to catch up.
I also started back with an eGo and although I have added quite a few mods to my collection, I still use them quite a lot - especially when out in a restaurant or something. I had one of the very first mods back in the day.... And thought I was so cool and forward thinking lol. The first Screwdriver and it cost a fortune then - £100 and when it broke there was no service. So on my return to the fold, I got the eGo-T and a new Screwdriver because I could use my eGo tanks on it. It just lies there now since I have other toys that work better. Ah well, live and learn.
Lots of good juices now too!
Anyway, have fun :).
