my LT seems to only go back down to 3 volts half the time i switch batteries, the other half it keeps the voltage what it was at as if i never even took the battery out. wonder if anyone elses does this, its kinda nice...half of the time haha
I think it has something to do with how fast you change the battery. I don't know the exact time but it will keep the setting for a while, if you go past that it resets.
yeah i saw a grimm green video on that. If you have the new one in within like 10 seconds i think he said, it will keep what you had it set at. If it takes you longer than that, it will reset to 3.
yes it is just the cap storing a small amount of power and it keeps the chipset powered for a short period of time.
Its just like the power supply in your Xbox360 unplug it from the wall and that little light on the power brick will stay lit for a while and slowly fad out...... same concept.

Same here....but the one that refused to work got gutted and stripped in front of the replacement. The new one knows its place! (the new ones are SO much quieter)
I only get about 2.5-3 seconds to change my batts and not lose the voltage setting. Maybe I should try locking it first.
hmm i personally have never locked my voltage before and i keep it around 4.5 usually, and i have left batteries out for a minute or two before popping in a new one. i dont use the battery it came with though idk if that would matter (still a flat top imr) also how many clicks does it take you guys to check your voltage left?
