Hello everyone,

I am not a smoker, but I joined this forum because I am interested in getting my boss e-cigarettes because he smokes quite often in the office and it is adversely affecting us. I have done a little research and I have found a company called Blucigs.com, I think I prefer these because of the sophisticated and sleek look of the package and cigarettes, and I think they will fit very nicely with my boss's image. In addition, they seem to be much cheaper than other brands, hence I will be more able to afford it. However, there is one problem, my boss smokes ONLY Marlboro Lights, which I have been told has 6mg of nicotine per cigarette. The smallest amount of nicotine in blucigs' is 8mg. So I have two questions: firtsly has anyone who used to smoke Marlboro Lights experienced any dissatisfaction if they had smoked an e-cig with slightly higher mg; and secondly, has anyone ever tried to switch diffrent brand cartridges with different brand e-cigs?

I would greatly appreciate any responses, as I would like to purchase e-cigarettes as soon as possible because i am not sure how much longer we can withstand the smoke in a closed environment 8-o. Thanks in advance.

Blu cigs are not well regarded around here, like the above poster said it could take month to get them and their performance is not supposed to be so good. Regarding the mg's, the mg's in the juice is x-mg per ml, so he won't be taking that in all in one session (hopefully ;)). Also, I have personally found that, as vaping is not quite the same as cigarettes, that higher mg's gets me through bad cravings, so he may need more at first. Evidence also shows that you do not get as much nicotine vaping as smoking. You can switch the cartidges from different brands as long as they are the same model. There are many excellent looking e-cigarettes that are better than the blu. If you would look a charging case a 510 has something called a pcc that you can buy or have your boss purchase for an accessory, that is basicly the same as blu's charging case. The 510 is what I have and is an excellent model, but it is a little bit harsh so I would look into a 901 as well. I'm not sure on that though, anyone around here smoked marlboro lights?

Sorry, didn't mean to post twice but I thought this needed to be said as well. I would highly recommend discussing this with your boss before you go ahead and purchase this for him. E-cigarettes take a lot of fiddling around with, filling carts, topping off, replacing broken parts... and also a little dedication switching from analogs to them. If you think your just going to give him this device and he's just going to happily smoke this and never pick up a real cigarette again you could end up being very disappointed. And if you give this to him without him having all the facts he could be as well, when something breaks or if he doesn't know how to properly fill carts ect. I read up on it, and watched the videos, for days before purchasing and my e-cigarette arriving, and I still had some issues. As everyone has said before there is a huge learning curve with this.
