Switching flavors

When you guys switch flavors do you use a different cartomizer each time? Can you maybe just rinse it and change the wick (or perhaps the whole heating element) so the old flavor doesn't effect the new one?

Do you have a strategy to remember what flavor is in what cartomizer? I'm playing around a lot with recipes and have almost 10 different ones made up and it's getting a bit confusing. I write a number on the cartomizer with an indelible marker but it never stays. Just wondering how you guys might keep this straight.

I seriously need to get some kind of box of sorts (tackle box?) to keep all of this in, may supplies are getting a bit out of hand!

What you really need is a dripping atomizer. The Ikenvape io6 is a great inexpensive atomizer for taste testing your juices. Just put a few drops in it and vape. When you're ready to switch flavors, just blow it out into a paper towel.

Hi spinsheet,

Like your name and it's nice to see another poster from the Annapolis area.

I had the same problem with you keeping track of different liquids and it was suggested here to use color rubber bands: matching color on liquid bottle and tank. Since I use T3s clearomizers, I bought them in different colors and just wrap a rubber band that color on the bottle of liquid that's in that tank. It's worked great.

When I first started vaping, there were only atomizers and cartomizers. I had different cartomizers for different flavors and got confused. I used different colored drip tips and sometimes even wrote a letter on the side in nailpolish to remember. For example, Blueberry would be "B", etc. lol. It worked out fine for me. Colored rubber bands is a good idea. I never thought of that one :)

if you are making your own juices and doing alot of testing, definatley invest in a dripping atomizer. It is by far the easiest way to switch flavors.

I have not once successfully changed flavors in a cartomizer and 100% got rid of the old flavor. My cartos are reserved for flavors i know i like and will keep refilling/reordering.

Grab a couple bottom coil clearos for all middle ground. I change flavors in my protanks all the time by just pouring out the old liquid and adding new. Any old juice left in the wicks is usually gone in 4-5 puffs.
